Chapter 37

I woke up the next day in sams arms, feeling really refreshed, it felt great to be home and sleeping in my own bed. Plus it's thanksgiving, which I'm really excited for since i get to see sams family and my grandparents, and eat all the shit I want

"Goodmorning" Sam mumbles, placing kisses from the shoulder up my neck

"Morning handsome" I say turning around, and placing my lips onto his

"I will never get tired waking up like this" Sam says and I smile

"Happy thanksgiving" I say smiling

"Happy thanksgiving, our first thanksgiving together" he says. Last year we were a couple, but we were just with our families

"Yeah, I'm excited" I say biting my lip

"It drives me wild when you do that" Sam says smirking

"Let's go eat some breakfast" I say excitingly, my moms cooking is the best We head downstairs and see a stack of French toast and bacon, my favorite

"Goodmorning guys, happy thanksgiving!" My mom says in her usual perky voice

"You too, ms.hartman" Sam says smiling. We all sit down and eat and talk about random things

"Thanks for breakfast mom" I say placing a kiss on her cheek

"No problem, everyone will be here in like 2 hours" she says

"Okay, we'll go get ready and then help cool and clean and stuff like that" I say

"Okay, take your time" she says and we go back to my room. Sam wants to shower first so I decide to text kaitlyn until he's done

Me: good luck with jacks family today

Kaitlyn: thanks, you too 😼

Me: I'm already a pro at this, I don't need luck

Kaitlyn: haha okay, text me later bb 💋

Me: will do, have fun 👊

Sam walks out of the bathroom in just a towel, and even though I see him like this everyday, it literally is like it gets better every time

"Wow my boyfriend is so sexy" I say wrapping my arms around his neck

"I could say the same about my girlfriend" he says giving me a kiss

"I'm going to hop in the shower" I say, as Sam slaps my butt

I take a 20 minute shower, then blow dry my hair, which always takes forever. I walk out of the bathroom and see Sam in a black tshirt with a patterned pocket, and some tan khakis

"You look really good" Sam says

"Sam, I'm only in a bra and underwear" I say laughing

"Exactly" he smirks

"You have a dirty, dirty mind wilk" I say.

"How could I not, my hot girlfriend is standing in front of me half naked" he said chuckling. I start digging through my closet and decide on wearing a floral print skater skirt dress and some black wedges. I head to the bathroom and apply a light makeup and straighten my long hair.

"You look gorgeous" Sam says placing a kiss on my lips

"Thanks babe, I loveeee you" I say

"I loveeeee you more" he says and I smile at him. We have about an hour til everyone gets here so we go downstairs to help my mom set up

"You look beautiful mom" I say. She was wearing a maroon sweater and jeans

"Thanks honey, so do you" she says. I help her chop up some vegetables and prepare other meals while Sam sets the table

"Were here!" I hear my grandpa yell

"Grandma, grandpa!" I yell hugging them tightly

"We've missed you princess" my grandma says

"I've missed you guys too" I say smiling

"How's Sam been treating you?" My grandpa asks and my grandma goes to talk go my mom

"Sam is amazing, I've never been happier" I say smiling

"That's great" he says happily

"Hey Mr. Hartman, nice to see you again" Sam says

"You too, Sam" my grandpa says. We wait a few minutes and sams family gets here. It was his parents and his two sisters Annie and Emily

"Hey guys!" Sam says giving them all hugs

"I've missed you so much honey" sams mom says and I laugh

" I missed you too mom" Sam says and I smile at how close they are

"Emma dear!" She says hugging me

"Nice to see you Lori" I say smiling. I say hi to the rest of his family and decide to go eat

"Everyone has to say one thing that they're thankful for" my mom says, it's a tradition my family has always done. Everyone says theirs and Sam and I last since we are at the end

"I'm thankful for my amazing, most beautiful girlfriend and all these amazing opportunities I have gotten" Sam says

"I'm thankful for such amazing family to be able to spend thanksgiving with, and Sam and all the happiness he brings me" I say smiling

"You guys are too cute" emily says and I laugh

"Let's dig in" my mom says. We all have turkey and all the normal thanksgiving food. We all start eating and Sam puts his hand on my thigh and I place a kiss on his cheek

"This is amazing, thank you Rebecca" sams mom says to my mom and everyone agrees

"I feel like I'm going to explode" I say laughing

"Same here" Sam says. Everyone has already left and we are cuddling watching movie

"This was a wonderful thanksgiving" I say, happier than ever

"The first of many" Sam says and I smile. I smash my lips to his and sam unconnects them

"Let's take this upstairs" Sam says lifting me up and I laugh, reconnecting our lips
