Chapter 18

Sam's POV

I woke up with Emma in my tight embrace, still fast asleep.

"How am I so lucky to be able to wake up with such a gorgeous girl that i call mine in my arms?" I whisper and see a smile spread across her face which immediately makes the smile already on my face grow bigger. I bring my lips down to hers a she immediately kisses back

"I love you baby girl good morning" I say in a raspy morning voice

"I love waking up to you" she smiles "so who's coming to this dinner?" She asks

"Grandparents,cousins, people like that" I answer

"I'm excited" she says flashing that beautiful smile

"They're going to love you" I say

We head downstairs and Emma starts helping my mom prepare for the dinner and I clean the house. I watch her and my mom talk and laugh together and it made me smile real big, the two most important ladies in my life. She catches me staring and I wink and continue cleaning

"I'm going to take a shower" I announce

Emma's POV

"I'm so glad you're able to come tonight Emma" Lori, Sams mom, says

"Yeah me too, I'm excited" I smile

"You know Sam really loves you, I've never seen him like this before, this full of happiness and love" she says and I smile

"I'm going to go get ready, if that's okay" I say

"Yeah that's fine honey, thanks for the help" she says and I go to sams room and see him just in a towel

"Hey sexy" I smirk

"Hey baby, like what you see?" He says winking

"Maybe" I smirk. I then slipped on a white sundress and some black flats. I put my hair into loose, bouncy curls and apply a little makeup

"You looks so gorgeous" Sammy says making me blush

"You look good too" i say and give him a kiss

"Ewwww girls have coodies" Sammy says jokingly. He looks really nice, he's wearing tan khakis and a plaid button up shirt.

"I'm just kiddin babe" he says a smashes his lips onto mine again, me made out for a few minutes until we heard a doorbell ring downstairs

"Ready?" Sammy asks and I nod

We get downstairs and see lots of people already there

"Grandma, grandpa this is my girlfriend Emma" Sammy says confidently

"Nice to meet you" I say attempting to shake their hands

"We're a hugging kind of family" they says and each of them giving me a hug

"Look at Sammy boy, he's finally picked up a girl" his grandpa says making me laugh

"Grandpa!" He says

"Sammy!!!" A little girl who looked about 4 years old yelled, running over to Sammy. He bent down and scooped her into his arms

"Hey princess" he says smiling and tickling her, making her giggle. I swear this was the cutest thing I had ever seen "Sophie, this is Emma my girlfriend" he says

"She's pretty" she says

"I know right?!" He says

"Why thank you guys, but I think you're prettier Sophie" I say

"I approve" she says causing me and Sammy to laugh

"Let's go introduce you to my sisters and brother" he says excitingly

"Emma this is my sisters Annie and Emily, and my brother Ben" he introduces

"Nice to finally meet you Emma, you're literally all Sammy talks about" Annie says hugging me.

"True" Emily says laughing, then pulling me In for a hug. I then say hi to Ben and give him a hug

Sams POV

"Dinner is ready!" My mom yells. We walk over to the table and I pull out a chair for Emma before I sit down

"So tell us about yourself Emma" my dad says

"Well I moved here from Missouri, where I was born and raised. I moved here because my mom got a job offer at the hospital. I'm 17, almost 18"

"On Thursday July 1st" I add

"Yup" she smiles at me and I smile back. Everyone else got into there own conversations while eating the steak that my dad grilled

"I love you babe, so do they" I smile and squeeze her hand under the table

"I love you too" she says pecking my lips

After a few more hours of talking and catching up, everyone leaves. Emma and I clean the kitchen and go upstairs

"How do you think I did?" She asks anxiously

"Trust me, you did so great. You're really good with kids" I add smiling

"So are you, who knew tough guy wilk was good at playing princesses" she says laughing

"Hey! I was Prince Charming" I say defending myself

"You're my prince" she says giving me a kiss

"And you're my princess" I say after pulling away
