Ethan Dolan;

"I-I'm gonna go." Finely announced, literally darted to the door and rushing out.

I was still shocked, I never thought I'd ever see her again. I stared at the selfish witch in front of me, a witch who used me for her own good. I stared at the person in front of me who was the definition of backstabber.

I hated how she still looked the same, she looked the same as she did when I fell in love with her. The same girl who cared for me when no one else did. But I tried to remember no matter how beautiful she was on the outside, she was the complete opposite on the inside. She's nothing but an empty shell that doesn't give a fuck about anyone but herself.

"What are you doing here?"

I watched her flinch at my harsh
tone. Did she really think I would have my arms wide open for her to run in as soon as she stepped foot in the room? Did she think I would treat her like a queen? Reality check, darling. You're still the same bitch who played with my heart and stomped on it ten years ago.

"Ethan, I—" She took a step closer to me but I stopped her.

"Don't, Abigail. Just get out. I don't want to see your face." It was a lie and we both knew it.

"Just hear me out, please." The pain in her eyes made me go soft again, the effect she had on me was undeniable and I hated it.

"Two minutes. That's all you have. Say what you want and leave and never come back if you value your life."

She sighed in relief. "Ethan, I'm sorry for what I did years ago..."

"One minute and forty five seconds."

"I know you'll never be able to forgive me. I can still remember the look on your face when you found out the truth about me. God, it was so heartbreaking. Even a heartless bitch like me felt something I have never felt. I could always remember the look of hurt on your face. It still suffocates me, Ethan, I—"

"Why are you telling me this?"

If it was anybody else, I maybe would've been a bit more sincere. But it wasn't someone else, this was Abigail. The biggest liar I knew. Her words were in one ear and out the other. I wasn't going to let myself fall for her sweet talk again.

Tears were steaming down her face by now. "I left them. I left it all behind."

I stared at her in confusion. She couldn't be talking about what I think she was talking about. That's just impossible.

"What?" Was all I could mutter out.

"It was for you, Ethan. I left behind my people, my family. I left it all for you. I realised how much I loved you. You were the only person on my mind, I—"

I cut her off. "Abby stop. You can't just walk back into my life and apologise. Don't you dare think everything will go back to the way it was, just because you finally got your head out of your ass and regret your mistakes. You're too late, I don't love you."

I turned around, ignoring the fact that I called her by the nickname I used to use. It proved her words were affecting me. They were seeping into my heart. My mind was clouded with her scent, I didn't even want to think about what I'd do if I was closer to her.

"Where will I go, Ethan? I have no one, they won't let me back. They know I love you. Why would they take me back when they know I'm in love with their enemy. Please, don't reject me. You're my only home." She was taking a few steps closer to me. Her voice broke at the end, shattering the emotionless mask on my face.

I turned around. "I didn't force you to leave them. That's your fault for making the wrong decision—once again. Go back and beg them for forgiveness, not me. Or better yet, go find somebody else. I'm sure there are millions of men who wouldn't mind. Charm them into loving you, like you did with me. You're practically an expert at it, I'm sure you'll have them on their knees in no time. Just do that thing you used to do whenever our eyes would meet from across the room, you know, the hair flick, lip bite and then look away. Maybe even lick your lips to seduce them, I'm sure that will get them into bed. Are you going to leave now or do you want me to continue?"

She face looked even more hurt than before. "Ethan, it's you who I've always wanted. Please just give me a chance."

Angry with her, I grabbed the back of her neck and brought her face close to me, her eyes widening in the process but I didn't care. I needed to get my point across.

"Didn't you hear me? I don't love you anymore. We will never be together." I hissed through gritted teeth.

"Liar. You still love me, I can see it in your eyes. And this time, I love you too. Your Abigail loves you. What's holding you back? We could go right back to the way we were. Just like you used to say; without Abigail, there is no Ethan. You used to call me your sun, because what is there without the sun? Nothing, no light, no happiness. We can't be separated. I belong to you Ethan. Isn't that what you always wanted? Now you can finally have it. You can have all of me."

It was suddenly becoming hard to breathe. The room was noticeably hotter. I loosened my grip on Abigail but she didn't move. She just kept glancing from my eyes to my lips. I was too damn scared to look anywhere but her eyes.

I felt my guard fall completely as I whispered the words I knew I would regret. "I missed you so much."

She smiled with happy tears, leaning in to kiss me.
