Finely Stone;
A few months later...
"Are you nervous?" Grayson asks, helping me with my shoes while the maids continued to curl my hair.
I stared at myself for a minute in the mirror, the girl staring back me looked completely different to the girl who came into this castle first. It's crazy how much I've grown here.
"Of course I am, what kind of a question is that? I'm shitting myself. I'm about to get married to a king in front of a whole kingdom!" I said, fumbling with my shaky hands.
Grayson chuckled, talking hold of my hands. "You're going to be fine. You look like you were born for this, born to be a queen! I'll be right there, beside you." He smiled.
"Thank you." I smile. "That means a lot."
The next thirty minutes is filled with conversation of random things. Gray kept me calm and collected, which I was grateful for. I was shaking with nerves and why wouldn't I be. This is the biggest day of my life.
"You're all done." The maid smiled, spraying the last bit of hairspray I needed.
Grayson stood up, holding out his hand for me to take. "Looks like it's time, Fin. Are you ready?"
"Ready as I'll ever be." I breathed.
-
Grayson and I made our way outside where the wedding would be. Ethan wanted an outside wedding, and I couldn't agree more. The sounds of water and the chirps of crickets make the garden feel alive. The fresh flowers add color, and the sky was the background of the art. In all my life, I never imagined that this day would be happening.
Grayson links arms with me and leads me down the aisle, whispering that I can do this. I almost have to remind my self to breathe and it doesn't help that the entire kingdom is staring us down. The soft sound of piano music to play in the background and that's when I knew, this is it. I have to contain myself from blowing up with excitement when I see Ethan come into view.
We finally get to the end of the aisle and Grayson hands me over to Ethan. As Ethan and I lock eyes he takes my hand, his touch sending me the same spark they did the first time we ever touched.
"You look absolutely stunning." He breathes and I smile.
"Do you have the rings?" The minister asks. Tyler hands the rings to the minister. "Have you two prepared your own vows?"
"We have." Ethan said.
"I'll go first." I said, clearing my throat and begin speaking. "Ethan," I begin. "You're my sole-mate, you're more than my oher half, you're more than me. I look a you and I never want to see anyone else. Ever. You're who I want to be with forever and always. Even though things weren't the best at the start with us, love came through and showed me your true colours. You are the most caring person I have ever met. Anywhere with you is safe because that's how you make me feel. I never want to feel anything other than safe and loved with you. It's you. It will always be you." I said.
Ethan speaks, "If I didn't have you I don't think I would be happy. I don't think I would ever wake up with the smile on my face that only you can put on mine. You've given me the rest of your life to be with and I don't know how to thank you or repay you. I have your forgiveness and even though I shouldn't have it, I can't thank you enough for it. I've put you through horrible things, I know sorry doesn't cover it, but I vow to make it up to you every single day of my life, which is literally forever. I vow to always give you space when you're mad because we know how I can make you mad. I'll always be there for you even if you don't want me there. Because I love you." Ethan says.
