➵ Anime Events

        Hello readers of Otaku Magazine! I'm Bellabug, and I'll be covering Anime Events from now on! I'll try to make this brief for you guys, but I have a LONG list of Cons and Events to go through. If you would like more information on a specific event in your area, just PM me or comment here, and I'll send you some more info!

        Our first location is North Carolina. The only event in that area is Ichibancon, going on from January1-4 at the Embassy Suites in Concord.

        Next up we have Tennessee. There are 4 events in that area! The first one is Anime Kaiju in Nashville, at the Millenium Maxwell House from January 2-4. The second one is Knoxville Anime Day on January 17th at the Holiday Inn Knoxville West at Cedar Bluff. The third one is Murfreesboro Anime and Comic Con going on January 17-18 at the Clarion Inn and Suites. And last, but not least, is Nashville Anime Day on January 31st, at the Clarion Inn and Suites in Murfreesboro

        After that is sunny California (That's where I live :3)! There are 4 events in this state as well. The first one is SacAnime from January 2-4 at the Sacramento Convention Center in Sacramento. The second one is Anime Los Angeles at the LA Airport Marriott from January 9-11. The third event is Bak-Anime in Bakersfield at the Bakersfield Marriott (The Convention Center part) January 24th and 25th. The last one is AOD from January 31-February 1st at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport in Burlingame.

        Still up is Illinois. There are 2 events in this state. The first is Anime-Zap! From January 2-4th at the Embassy Suites East Peoria-Hotel and Riverfront Conference Center in East Peoria. The second event is Kollision Con in Rosemont from January 2-4th at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare.

        Now, we have Texas with one event in Austin. Ikkikon is going on from January 2-4th at the Hilton Austin.

        In Florida, there will be Sukoshi Con on January 3rd in Ft. Walton Beach at the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort at Destin West.

        In New Jersey, there's Kotori Con on January 9th and 10th at Rowan College at Gloucester County in Sewell.

        Meanwhile, up in Canada, they've got some stuff going on as well. From January 23-25th in Quebec, there's G-Anime at the Palais de Congrès de Gatineu in Gatineu. On January 31st in Ontario, there's FrostCon at the Chestnut Residence and Conference Centre in Toronto.

        Back in the US, Las Vegas, Nevada is putting on Otakon Vegas at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino from January 16-18th.

        In Kansas City, Missouri, Ahn!Con will be going on from January 9-11th at the Ramada Conference Center.

        In Louisville, Kentucky, Sukoshi Con: Pokékon is going on from January 9-11th at the Crowne Plaza Airport Expo Center.

        If you live in the UK, have I got a treat for you. Located in Doncaster, there's Digi-Con at the Doncaster Racecourse from January 11-12th.

        Close by(ish) is Ireland with Akumakon from January 16-18th at the National University of Ireland in Galway

        Again, going back to the USA, in Mesa, Arizona, there's Taiyou Con at the Mesa Convention Center from January 16-18th.

        In Columbus, Ohio, at the Greater Ohio Convention Center is Ohayocon from January 30-February 1st.

        All the way in State College, Pennsylvania, Setsucon is going on at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel on January 24th and 25th.

        Just two more to go! In Southaven, Missouri, on January 17th at the Landers Center is the Anime Blues Winterfest Remix

        Last, but never least, is Arisia in Boston, Massachusetts at the Westin Boston Waterfront from January 16-19th.

        Sorry for such a long article! There were so many cons to go through, it was crazy! I hope you all have fun if you go to a con, and let me know how much fun you had! I'm interested to see how Cons allover the world are! (I've only been to SacAnime and New York ComiCon so...yeah) And HAPPY 2015!!!
