It was a Friday night Millie was waiting for Finn to arrive so they can have their movie night like they always did every Friday.
Once she heard a knock on the door she jumped out of the couch running to the door and opening to let Finn in. She went in to give him a kiss but he moved his head making her lips come in contact with his cheek.
"Hey is everything okay?" she asked as she closed the door behind him. She walked to him as he seemed anxious to tell her something. He grabbed her hand not knowing how to tell her so he just said it.
"I have some news to tell you. Just don't blame yourself"
"Finn you're scaring me. What is it?"
"I found somebody else" he said making her confused.
"What?" she couldn't believe what he had just said. He found somebody else, somebody else.
"I found somebody else that I love"
"But I love you" she said hoping that it would change his mind. He stayed silent looking anywhere but her.
[flashback as to when they first said I love you]
It was there 3 month anniversary and they decided to go out to eat. they were at a nice restaurant that had live music.
Finn and Millie were slow dancing, his arms around her waist and hers securely around his neck. She looked deeply into his eyes that she loved so much.
"I love you" she whispered softly to him.
He looked surprised hearing her say those 3 words, those strong meaningful 8 letters.
"I love you too" he says back making her heart full
But it was all a lie.
She asked him one last thing, cause it might help her sleep tonight "W-When did you fall out of love, with me?" he looked at her as she was trying to figure out if this is what he really wanted and that's when it hit her.
She realized that he was never actually in love with her, he never loved her. He lead her on and now he brokeher.
The heart wants what it wants and for Finn it wasn't Millie, it was never Millie.
Tears had already formed in her eyes as they started falling down. She couldn't believe it the boy that she had deeply fallen in love with had found somebody else that he loves and it wasn't her, it was never her.
Deep inside of her she wanted this to be a dream where she would wake up and Finn would be there by her side saying that it was all a dream but it wasn't it was reality.
He was here standing in front of her, breaking up with her and leaving her as if she meant nothing to him.
What could have gone wrong in their relationship to make everything dead and gone?
She loved and she loved him but at the end, she ended up loosing him.
There is not a thing that she could say to him for his mind to change because once he sets his mind to something nothing can make him change it.
"You'll find somebody else." he says as if it was to make it somewhat better.
He was better off without her, but she wasn't
"Goodbye" was the last thing he ever said to her before he left and was never heard of again.
If he truly loved her then why did he leave? Their love was suppose to last forever
but guess what, nothing lasts forever.
