It was another long walk, and the group came upon some rainbow shells.

"Wow, this is great," Lori smiled.

Suddenly, something jumped out from a nearby tidepool, scaring Dorothy into getting on Lori's shoulder.

"It's okay, Dorothy—it's just a crab," Lori smiled. She saw that this crab looked like the one from The Little Mermaid. "Hello there."

"Hello, I'm Sebastian," the crab smiled.

"I'm Lori, and this is my cat Dorothy and our friend Scuttle," Lori smiled.

"Good to meet you," Sebastian smiled. Then he saw Lori's violin case. "What do you have there, child?"

"It's a violin," Lori replied. She took the violin out of the case and played a little bit of "Part of Your World".

"Beautiful," Sebastian smiled. "It must take a lot of heart to do that. I wish I had a heart." He began to sing, and Lori played along with her violin.

SEBASTIAN: When a crab's an empty kettle

He should be on his mettle

And yet I'm torn apart

Just because I'm presuming that

I could be kinda human

If I only had a heart

I'd be tender, I'd be gentle

And awful sentimental

Regarding love and art

I'd make friends with the sparrows

And the boy who shoots the arrows

If I only had a heart

Picture me a balcony

Above, a voice sings low

LORI: Wherefore art thou, Romeo?

SEBASTIAN: I hear a beat

How sweet

Just to register emotion

Jealousy, devotion,

And really feel the part

I could stay young and chipper

And I'd lock it with a zipper

If I only had a heart

Lori then had another idea. "We were just wondering why you couldn't come with us and ask the Wizard of Oz for a heart," she smiled, putting her violin back.

"You really believe he would give me a heart?" Sebastian asked.

"He must," Lori declared. "He's going to send me and Dorothy home to Kansas, and he's going to give Scuttle a brain."

"Okay, I'll go with you," Sebastian smiled.

"You might want to hitch a ride in my purse," Lori said. "Not only is it kinda hot, but I might accidentally step on you."

"Okay, thank you, Lori," Sebastian smiled.

Lori put Sebastian in her purse and skipped down the road with Dorothy at her feet and Scuttle by her side, and they all sang their travel song.

We're off to see the Wizard

The wonderful Wizard of Oz

We hear that he is a whiz of a whiz if ever a whiz there was

If ever oh ever a whiz there was

The Wizard of Oz is one because, because, because, because, because, because, because of the wonderful things he does

We're off to see the Wizard

The wonderful Wizard of Oz!

Little did Lori know that the Wicked Witch was using her crystal ball to spy on her.

"Just as I thought—Sophia gave the slippers to that goofy girl!" the Wicked Witch growled. "She really needs to watch her back now."
