it was late at night. most of the members were sleeping, except younghyun. he was out in the living room, sitting on the couch, thinking of lyrics to write for the next comeback. jae, he was in his room, but he couldn't sleep. he stared at the ceiling, his mind blank. maybe i should eat some ramen, jae thought, getting up and walking to the kitchen.

the moment he exited his room, he saw that the lamp was on. weird... did wonpil leave it on again? jae shrugged, he needed that light anyway. he went to the kitchen, boiled water and put the ramen and seasoning in the boiling water. he poked at the ramen with his chopsticks, making the ramen fall apart.

with his back turned to the couch, younghyun was writing lyrics, when he got stuck. he couldn't think of any lines to continue the song. he ears were flat against his head, and his tail moving right and left. he could smell ramen but now was not the time for ramen. on the other hand, jae, he was unaware of younghyun's presence. so when he heard growling noises behind him he screamed.

"hyung, what's wrong?" younghyun asked, eyes filled with worry.

"jESUS CHRIST BRIAN," jae gasped. his heart was beating so loudly, his hands were trembling and he let out a breath. "don't do that... i-i didn't even know you're here. why aren't you sleeping?"jae asked, turning off the stove when his ramen was done.

"i could ask you the same,"younghyun replied. jae stood still at the kitchen, staring at younghyun and slurping his ramen while younghyun sat at the couch, staring at jae. "you want some?" younghyun nodded.

jae sat down beside younghyun and gave the younger some of his ramen. they were sitting so close, legs and shoulders touching. after they both finished eating ramen, jae stared at the book on younghyun's lap. jae wanted to tell younghyun to just go to sleep, forget the lyrics, his health is more important. younghyun wanted to ask jae if the lyrics were okay.

they both turned to each other to tell the other something but when they did, they accidentally kissed.

"WHA- JAE I DIDN'T MEAN TO-"

"BRO I- I'M REALLY SORRY-"

they jumped away from each other, eyes wide as they stare at each other in shock. "look, hyung i- well, i didn't mean to kiss you. it was an accident." "yeah, i didn't mean to kiss you too. it- i- let's just forget this ever happened, yeah?"

younghyun nodded at the suggestion to forget what happened. jae threw away his cup, younghyun switched off the lamp and they went to sleep. but the thing is, they didn't sleep. they still hadn't recover from the accidental kiss.

oh boy, things are gonna be awkward for them.
