A/N So like my brother is watching me write and I feel so weird. xD Okay so like there's a time skip so don't get confused. >u< And yes I'm well aware that this chapter is way overdue.

"Serenity! Can you wait up! I don't have wings!" I cried. I jumped over logs and tree roots, trying to catch up with the midnight black dragon in front of me. We were finally nearing the cliff that we usually jump off of. The trees finally stopped coming towards me and I entered the clearing before the cliff. I kept running, unfazed by the fact that a deathly deep drop was approaching me. I jumped off the cliff, and as the world went into slow motion, Serenity, who was behind me, now flew beside me. We dived towards the river below us. Spinning in a circular motion, we spun so Serenity's back was toward the river and I was facing her.

"Serenity, you do realize that the river is really close now." I said in a somewhat calm voice. She just did her signature smile.

"Serenity....." I said, as I fake glared at her. The river was about 15 metres away now. Sernity, seeing the river's reflection in my eyes, turned her back in a split second. She spread her wings and I landed on the custom saddle that I made her. The adrenaline went through me as we pulled up amazingly close to the cliff wall. As we cleared the cliff walls I noticed that the once clear blue sky was now full of dark clouds and looked as if the sun was setting. I felt Serenity tense.

"Hey..." I said slowly. "Let me hear" She hesitated. I knew something was wrong. "Serenity...." I heard a loud sigh over the wind. In seconds, I felt as though I was being pulled into a tornado. I still can't get use to the feeling... After about 20 seconds of feeling like I was being ripped apart, the feeling subsided and my senses were improved. No... My senses weren't mine. They were Serenity's. I felt my weight on her back and the wind under her wings. I also saw the world through her eyes and heard through her ears. That's when I heard it. A deafening scream to Serenity, a whisper to anyone else. My mother. There we more as well, screams that I couldn't match. I felt my own body tense up against Serenity's. She of course noticed and forced me out of the connect. As I re-entered my own body, she changed her course towards my old home, now set afire, and picked up speed.
