"But mommy! I want to spend time with you!" Angel cried.
"Please, Angel. Mommy's busy." Angel's mom replied. "Go play with the others"
"But they don't hear me." Angel said. It was the truth. Everybody ignored her. More like didn't hear. She was invisible. "Mommy please!"
"Angel. I will go tell them you are there. It's your own fault for not speaking loud enough!" Angel's mom said, raising her voice. Tears threatened to pour out of Angel's eyes. I don't care. I don't care. That was all she thought about as her mom pushed outside. "Everybody! Please come here. Angel would like to play with you." Her mom addressed to all the 8 and 9 year olds of the village. "Please make sure you don't lose her," Her mom said as she left and turned back into the house.
"Hey since when has there been a girl named Angel in our village?" One kid whispered in another's ear.
"I know! And she definitely doesn't look like an angel. Look at her black hair. Aren't angels supposed to have long flowy blonde hair?" The kid whispered back. Angel bit her lip trying not to cry. I don't care. I don't care. She thought again.
A young boy climbs on top of a rock. His brushes his hair to the side of his face. "All right everybody! I'm going to count to 30-" The crowd gasps. Whispers travel around the crowd of children.
"He can count to ten?"
"How did he learn to do that?"
"Where did he learn?"
"Who taught him?"
The boy clears his throat. The crowd quiets down. He closes his eyes. "One, two," He begins. The crowd rushes to find a hiding place. Angel doesn't move as quick. She knows 30 seconds is short, but she feels no need to rush. In fact, this boy was counting very slow. Angel walked towards the forest. She found an abandoned dresser and tucked herself in. They'll never find me here. Actually, they'd probably will never find me anywhere. Angel sighed. She wanted to test this theory. So she climbed out of the dresser and began walking. It went from lunch to dinner, from dinner to midnight. Angel sat on a rock watching the lights of the village. They finally began going out. She waited for her own to go out. I won't go back if it goes out. She thought. All of a sudden the light in her house flickered and went out. A tear dripped from Angel's left eye. It doesn't matter. Not at all. She tried desperately to make her self feel better. She failed. As more tears poured out, the sky appeared to be brighter. Angel believed it to be her imagination, until it became clear that this was not a hallucination. A bright streak of white and a little bit of blue flies across the sky. The villagers that were still awake didn't seem to notice it. It landed a little deeper into the forest then Angel was. Angel, full of curiosity, headed towards that direction. Behind a rock lay a strange creature. It looked injured. Angel, reading many different books about this creature, jumped back behind the rock. Little did she know, that creature would be her only friend for a very long time.
A/N Hay! Okay okay. So ummmm ya that was my attempt at being amazing and I do believe I have failed miserably. I need to change my cover now but I'm kind of too lazy so ignore it. All right so like yes Hiccup will be in this story and yes Angel does not stay 8 for the whole story. Okay I love you all! Bye! ^-^
