Three is such a crowd

Sitting alone while the guys talked and done their own thing I couldn't help but feel a little Deja vu going on. Its as if Vincent has never been nice or Cassius either. Feeling a little left out I decided taking a walk in the woods would be nice. I managed to sneak out with out either one noticing me leave, was I so invisible to them that they didn't even care?

The woods were calming until I realized I was really close to the out skirts of town which started to make me panic. I slowly backed up and started to run away when I noticed a hooded man look me directly in my eyes. I tried getting back to the cabin but just like all the times before I was completely lost. I felt like I was being chased for ever until I ran right into something or someone. Cassius.

"What's your problem Krista?" He snapped at me.

"I'm being chased." I quickly replied as I got up from the ground and away from Cassius.

Turning around I saw the hooded man become closer to me making me hid behind Cassius.

"What are you doing Krista?" He asked as he shrugged me off.

"He's coming for me Cass don't you see him?" I asked as tears started to form in my eyes.

"See who?" Vincent asked from behind me. I let go of Cassius and ran towards Vincent half way to him the hooded man stepped in front of me making me stop in my tracks.

"Vincent help me!" I screamed.

"Krista no one is here with us" Cassius argued. As I watched the hooded man slowly pull his hood off, the sight shocked me. Tyler was standing before me. Tyler the guy who looked just like Cassius, who happened to be Cassius' uncle.

"So I lied to you before couldn't let you know who I actually was love." Tyler suddenly commented.

"Why are you following me?" I asked.

"Krista who's following you?" Vincent asked as he worried about my well being. Ignoring him I focused on Tyler once more.

"So many interruptions, I was following you so I could catch your attention love. We left on bad terms last time you and him saw me. Shooting him with my arrow didn't slow you down unfortunately." He replied as he leaned on a nearby tree. He looked so carefree, without any worries weighing him down.

"Tyler why are you here?" I asked.

"Tyler? Where the bloody hell is he?" Cassius started asking.

"Shut up Cassius." Both Tyler and I said at the same time.

"Looks like you two hate each other again follow me love so the boys don't follow." He whispered and kissed my forehead. As soon as his lips touched my skin I felt a shock, and my body felt weightless. I heard screaming as I looked back at my lifeless body on the floor along with Vincent and Cassius trying to wake me up.

"Don't worry love you're just asleep. We're in Azlyn the land of dreams." He commented. The world looked exactly the same but it had looked like dark clouds covered the sun. It wasn't completely dark but enough to make it feel like night.

"Why did you bring me here Tyler?" I asked.

"Well first things first I'm not really Tyler I never was. I'm Cassius from a distant future. Just like you could dream to the past, future and present so could I. We first ran into each other by accident I was never allowed to see myself it was too early for my younger self to know. However now is the time to come home Krista. Your kingdom needs you, they haven't had their queen since your mother was a young child. Now with Vincent also gone the kingdom is falling, many people are losing their ability to dream, as the night dreamers dream of nightmares and we'll the day dreamers are living in a reality filled with horrors from nightmares." Tyler or Cassius stated.

"How do I even get home?" I asked looking at him.

"Let your dreams guide your way Love, you will find it soon just follow the dreams" He answered.

"I'm not sure if I can find it by my self" I whispered as I looked down. The ground was dark as if black fog covered my feet.

"When the lights go out you will be safe, you will take control of the world and you will open up the doors to the dreams. As they're released you will find the dream world." He said in riddles.

"Why do you speak in riddles?" I asked

"Because the longer you are in Azlyn the easier it can take control and make you feel helpless in a dream. When we first enter Azlyn we're lucid dreaming it's when we can take control and we can understand what really is a dream to reality." He added.

"Thanks Tyler..I'm sorry Cassius." I started to feel myself loose grasp of reality.

"Wake up Krista, this world Azlyn use to be a peaceful place of serenity. Without the king and queen this was the first place to start slipping. Save us Krista!" Cassius yelled before I shot up from my current position. I looked around the sky was dark and I was laying in a small bed. I'm dreaming. I thought as I looked at the moon and it looked as if it was a melted candle.

"Dream" I whispered as then I shot up once more from the bed. My forehead was covered in sweat my hair was wet. I looked abound making a mental reality check. My feet felt cold so I got the blanket from thin air. Another dream. Finally waking up the sun temporarily blinding me.

"Krista!" Vincent shouted as he pulled me into his arms. Reality.

"Azlyn" I whispered as Vincent's eyes suddenly glazed over. He was blinking without talking.

"Vince? Vincent?" I called out.

"Mate you alright?" Cassius asked as he flicked his fingers in front of his eyes.

"Cass what's wrong with him?" I whispered.

"I dunno Kris?" He answered finally what seemed years which in reality was about a minute Vincent took a deal breath. He took one look at me and smile.

"I remember" Vincent simply whispered as he pulled me into a hug.
