Not your average Cinderella story(ON HOLD)

My knight and shinning armor was not a prince at all.

"You should have taken her out of there Cassius! I thought you promised to protect her?" I heard a familiar voice yell out.

"I couldn't okay, I tried he changed the codes and had guards by the door! Vincent you know I would have taken her out of there if I could." Cassius sadly replied. I woke up from all the shouting but pretended to be asleep.

"Cas you need to tell Penelope about the engagement before she finds out the hard way." Vincent told him.

"I know but I love her. I always wanted to marry her" Cassius stated making me gag.

"Damn she is awake." Vincent stated while walking up to me. I stood up and held my hand to his face.

"Don't!" I simply stated and walked out of Prince jerk offs room. I went to my room and threw my self on the bed. I knew he would also be staying at the castle as the ball grew closer normally all the younger princesses and prince's would come to stay. Just my luck too because I don't really talk to any of them thanks to Cassius and Vince. I'm not anti social though I do actually have friends with the animals of the land. I'm just kidding I'm not that type of princess I don't need a knight in shinning armor I can rescue my self. I quickly got up and took a shower and after I got dressed in some shorts and a crop top. I braided my hair and found my dark brown wig that falls into an ombre. I done my make up to perfection and put some flats on. I opened the door to my balcony and walked to the edge I looked around before I swung my leg over the rail and began to slowly climb down when I was close enough to the ground I jumped down and easily landed on my feet. I ran to the garage and took the keys to my car and pressed the button that turned my car on. With a roar it was alive I looked at my black and dark cherry car in awe before I got in and raced out the castle gates. I put my sun glasses on and blasted Bad Blood by Bastille, I raced through the city streets and drove towards the ocean once I got there I turned my car off and walked to the summer beach house I opened the garage and standing there in all its glory was my surf board. I took my wig off not needing it anymore and picked my second child up and ran to the water I took my clothes and shoes off and was left wearing my bikini.

"About time we saw your face again." I heard someone say. I turned around to see my best friends Jake, and Jody they were twin brothers who were also famous actors who lived here.

"You know we thought you abandoned us" Jody commented

"Awe Jo I'd never do that you know I love you guys." I replied.

"Krista where were you?" Jake asked, I looked up at him and knew I couldn't lie to him.

"I was locked in the dungeon again." I whispered sadly.

"What did you do this time?" they both said in unison.

"Well Alexander used my title for the throne when he found out my dad rejected his offer things got out of hand." I stated the short story. They both gave me that look where you know everything is going to be okay because they will make sure of it type of look.

"Krista everything will be okay I promise" Jody stated with a nod from Jake. See what did I tell you.

"Lets catch some waves?" I asked and they both smiled and we all grabbed our boards and went into the ocean. Surfing always put me in a better mood, as I got deeper into the ocean I felt free from life. When I was in the water I wasn't a princess I was just Krista. I turned my board around and quickly jumped up. I balanced my arms out and rode the waves. The twins were both on both sides of me and we started to move around each other and twisted around. Soon the waves came to an end and we fell into the water, we paddled out again and rode another wave this time the water formed a tunnel and I rode the wave in side of it letting my fingertips softly touch the water as I rode past it to the end. We done this for a few hours until I looked towards the beach I saw people at the shore trying to catch our attention. Those people being my guard dogs, prince of jerk land and prince of ass town.
