The Path We Run. (Flash and MHA Crossover)

Ambushed

(This is a prequel chapter to get The Flash's POV and show why he is on another Earth)

Barry was enjoying a slow day at Star Labs, not much running, at the moment at least. Iris was staying home that day, she wanted to try to get back into journalism, for she felt she was pretty good at it, and could give the Flash a better name. Cisco and Caitlin were doing some meta-human training and couldn't come in, and Wally was still with the Legends. So he was all on his own, that didn't bother him much because, like I said, it was a slow day, not even petty crimes were happening. Meaning when Reverse Flash and Zoom, 2 of the strongest, most evil, and lets not forget fastest, speedsters he'd faced, broke into Star Labs and pinned him to the cortex, he was pretty freaked out.

"What the hell are you 2 doing here!? How are you even here!?" Barry yelled, confused at why Reverse Flash was holding him down, and how Zoom was too. He was also surprised to see Zoom because the last time they'd seen each other, he was... Blacker. 

"Come on Flash," Thawne started, "I've told you, you can't get away from me, and you never will." He stated in a rather calm way, considering his actions.

"What about him then!?" Barry said, somewhat not wanting the answer.

" I was made on the off-chance the original Zoom failed. The fact that he did, shows how little he deserved your speed." Zoom told him in his demonic sounding voice, angered by the failure of the original, but also eager to prove that he is a better speedster than the man who stole the Flash's speed.

"Well since when have you 2 been besties then, huh?" Barry asked, trying to get on their nerves, and it was working, evident by Thawne's eyes now glowing red, burning with hate.

However, it didn't last long, his eyes returning to normal, as he said, "Well you get to have your little group of meta-human friends right? Because in that case, so do we." He was smiling maliciously, not knowing he just gave Flash an idea on how to escape.

His hand was right next to the computer that controlled coordinates for the breach room, and he had entered numbers leading to a random Earth so he could escape. Now all he needed to do was the ladder. Trying to buy time for the breach to open, he asked "Well then, tell me, how long has this alliance been going on then?"

"Not very long, maybe a week or 2, but then again, we're speedsters, that is enough time for us." Zoom said matter-of-factly, not seeing what this was leading up to.

Flash smirked, his plan about to come to fruition, "Then... which one of you is gonna kill me and prove you're the fastest man alive?" He asked them inquisitively and innocently. But in reality, it was no where near innocent.

The 2 speedsters dawned a look of shock, for neither of them had even discussed this, having only worked on speed and this plan to trap Flash.

In an instant, both started vibrating their hands and plunged them into Barry's chest, but he expected this and was already vibrating his on chest to counter-act their lethal attack. This is when Reverse Flash's eyes flared again as he punched Zoom across the room, lightning following behind due to the speed and power of the strike. This was Barry's plan, to use the pride of the "Fastest Man Alive" name he had made for himself against the 2, knowing neither of them could take being second in speed.

As soon as Zoom tackled Reverse Flash and they started racing around the room, Barry was free to grab his Flash ring containing his suit, and leave to the now open breach. He extended his fist, and watched as the tiny ring opened, and produced a full sized, friction-less suit we all know to well. Zoom and Reverse Flash heard his speed, and looked at the security cam footage, seeing Flash escape through the breach. They nodded to each other, wordlessly reaching an agreement to kill first, fight each other later. Reverse Flash pursued first, Zoom destroying the computer and following behind.

As Flash exited the breach and headed down the street of this new Earth, he turned to see if they had noticed his absence. While waiting, he saw 3 high school students staring at him, one of them glowing, with green electricity crackling about him.

"Huh, so this Earth has meta-humans as well." He thought to himself. Then he saw 2 lightning trails exit the breach chasing after him. Barry ran, twisting and turning along the streets of this busy population, Zoom and Reverse not far behind. They ended up in the city, with many people watching in awe, and terror.

This is where the fight begins.
