So, it should be pretty clear what I'm doing. As of this point, I'm discontinuing The Path We Run. To those that liked this story, sorry, but I have to do this. I'll explain why.
1. This book sucks. It was my first attempt at writing a book here on Wattpad and it was in a phase I had of loving The Flash. I still love The Flash, but it made me look into his character more and... he is hard to write into this world because he is genuinely overpowered. Anytime I write a fight scene I think "Oh he could be phasing right now." Or "Oh he could be phasing right now" and yes, I know I used that example twice, and thats because onlyDC villains can deal with this, because THEY ARE ALSO OVERPOWERED!
I was going to go into a list but I said most of the things by accidentally going on a tangent. But, I'm happy to say that I have found my bearings and improved a lot since this book. Sins Of The Father is much better then this, so if you haven't read it, give it a try please. Once I finish some of my books I might attempt rewriting this, but as it stands now? I'm done. I can't. Because even in a world of superpowers, The Flash still outclasses most of them.
He can run on clouds and water, throw lightning, time travel, inter-dimensional travel, hit with the power of a white star supernova, and those don't even include speed feats! When you check The Flash for the first time you think, "Why are so many of his villains evil speedsters?" Its because they are some of the only ones to stand a chance.
