"Hey Allison." Sarah whispered in my ear.

"What time is it?" I groaned squinting one eye to see it was still fairly dark outside.

"It's 5am." She answered.

"Why are you waking me up so early?" I whispered throwing my head under my pillow.

"Mom and Dad are bringing us kids to work. You want to come?" She whispered.

"I think you guys should go without me." I said puling my head from under the pillow. "You should get to know how busy your parents get." I said with squinted eyes.

"OK then." Sarah replied.

"Is Shane going?" I questioned before she left the room.

She opened the door letting the bright light shine in. "I think so. Mom wants us all to go." She answered.

"Ok then." I said pulling the blanket over my face and trying to go back to sleep.

When my brain decided it wanted to wake up, I got up without a struggle but I did wake up at 12pm. In the shower, I remembered that I was home alone and that all the Carson kids went with their parents to work. After my hot shower, I decided to have a complete lazy day with nothing but staying in bed all day. In case I decided I wanted to go to the beach, I did a light makeup which consisted of concealing my imperfections and filling in my eyebrows. I got dressed in my khaki shorts, maroon tank with a yin yang symbol on it and black flip flops.

After I got dressed, I decided since it was already noon, I might as well have lunch. I left the room and walked towards the stairs. I stopped at the top when I heard mumbling downstairs, scared since I knew no one was home I grabbed a bat that was lying on the floor and brought it with me as I slowly tip-toed down the stairs.

"I can't believe you." I heard a female voice yell. I peeked around the corner of the staircase and saw Taylor.

"Will you stop?" I saw the back of Shane's head appear blocking my view of Taylor.

"You weren't supposed to fall in love with her." Taylor yelled furiously. Wait were they talking about me?

Wait did she say love? Shane loved me? My head returned to reality. She knew about Shane's plan?

"What about us?" Taylor hit Shane.I slowly walked towards them, Shane still facing the opposite direction. When Taylor saw me she smirked. "Falling in love with Alli was not part of the bet. You were supposed to fake everything." She said. Wait what? My stomach filled with tingling nerves.

"I wish I never lied to Allison. I wish I could take back everything." He said. What he just said brought tears to my eyes.

"Oh. Hi Alli." Taylor said as if she didn't see me earlier.

"Haha, very funny." Shane fake laughed.

"Shane?" I muttered under my breath. "What is she talking about?" I asked nervously.

"I thought you were with my parents at work?" He said.

"No" I nodded. "I thought you went."

"How long were you standing there?" He asked.
