**1 month later**
I woke up due to the sound of a specific person named Sarah Carson blow drying her her in the morning.
"Do you really have to blow dry your hair at 7am?" I whined.
"If I don't, my hair will get frizzy." She said peeking her head out of the bathroom.
I didn't reply and grabbed my phone next to my pillow. I went on Instagram and saw that Ava and her family went to the beach. I bet, if I was back home Ava would've convinced me to go with her. I smiled at the thought. Gosh, how I miss my crazy bestfriend.
"What do you think?" Sarah asked gesturing towards her outfit. She was wearing a light turquoise dress that had pink, green, and dark blue floral print. The dress was a hi-low style which really looked good on her because she was tall. She paired it with a pink belt wrapped around her waist and a pair of brown wedges.
"You look adorable." I smiled.
"Thanks." She smiled in return. "It's one of the dresses I got yesterday." She said sitting at the corner of my bed.
"Well, I love it." I smiled.
"Thanks." She said gratefully.
"So I heard, Shane is taking you out for your guy's one month anniversary tonight?" She gossiped. Wait. What?! Tonight?!
"Really?" My eyes curled in confusion. It really has been one month already.
"Don't you know?" She asked.
"Well, I mean I know it's our one month. But I didn't know we were going out." I said.
"Maybe he's surprising you." She squealed again.
"Well I'm surprised alright." Confusion overpowering my happiness. Should I even happy about this?
Knock Knock
Sarah got up to answer the door.
Anniversary? One month? Taking me out? I was not expecting this.
"Aww." I heard Sarah squeal louder and pitchier.
Turning my head to her, I see Shane holding flowers and was dressed up nicely as well, he was weaing a white button up short sleeve with dark denim jeans. Compared to me, I looked like crap. Well I haven't gotten ready yet.
"I didn't think you were awake." Shane said.
"Sarah's blowdryer woke me up." I explained getting out of bed.
Shane threw Sarah a death stare, then walked towards me. "Anyways, happy one month babe." Shane smiled handing me the flowers.
"Thanks." I smiled.
"Get ready, breakfast should be ready soon." He kissed my cheek before leaving the room.
"He's so sweet." Sarah cooed closing the door. "I'm jealous."
"Yeah. He's full of surprises." I smiled to myself.
"Here, gimme the flowers, I'll put them in water while you get ready." Sarah took the flowers from me.
"Thanks." I said walking to the bathroom.
Since I took a shower last night, I didn't shower this morning. I brushed my teeth, then did a full face makeup, since today was a special occassion. I rarely did full faced makeup with smokey eyes though. After I decided to give my hair loose curls, and french braided my bangs back. I had no idea what to wear because I didn't think about celebrating an anniversary with Shane. But since we were, I slipped on a white skater dress that had triangle cut outs at the waist. And slipped on my black sandals that had a little bit of a heel.
