GIDEON SATby her locker. She was trying to get the utter boredom out of her before she had to head to her next class.
Hannah slid beside Gideon causing both of them to smile.
"You're in a good mood." Gideon smiled.
"You could say... guess who I'm hanging out with the day of homecoming?"
Gideon let out a breathy laugh, "Um, I- I don't know... Carlos?"
"Uh uh."
"Who?"
"Nini, Kourtney, and Ms. Jenn."
Gideon was confused, "Huh?"
"Yeah... we're like, totally ditching homecoming to hangout."
"Hannah?"
"Yeah?"
Gideon looked at her best friend. It had completely skipped Hannah's mind that since she and Gideon did not have dates to the dance that they would stay home and watch the best Disney movie of all time... Lemonade Mouth.
But, Gideon saw the excitement on Hannah's face.
"Have fun with them."
Hannah's smile grew, "No doubt. Now... tell me about the kiss kiss between you and Ricky."
Gideon rolled her eyes, "It was out of nowhere and don't know if it was because of how he was feeling or what but-"
"But?"
She looked up from her book and waved her fingers, "His lips are very soft."
Hannah laughed at Gideon and sighed.
"I'm gonna go ahead and catch up with Nini and Kourtney... I'll see you later."
