I grew up listening to my uncle play this song. This month, this track has been my to - go song when I leave for work. I also listened to this one, playing it on my phone speaker while we were in the Soda Water Park in Camiguin. I didn't care even if I would be disturbing or annoying other foreigners in the nearby cottage with it.
It was raining and my companions were at the pool. I was back in our cottage, along with the freshman essayist kid of ours who was too introvert to join the others.
I find comfort in this song for some reason. Maybe because it is rare for a man who'll say to a girl, "You were my first, you'll be my last."
It's like he decided to love the girl forever even after she left him. That got me soft. 😭
