Gender?

After the whole reunion thing Colin and Lian moved in with us to be closer to the kids and well...us.

I would say it's been awkward since they've been back especially with the twins still calling me and dami, mom and dad but everyone's excepted it in a way.

Spring break was over and the kids were gonna go back to school meaning no more late night patrols, or fighting on dangerous missions until the weekend.

I'm also finding out the gender of our little baby today. Mason had finally gotten dad to forgiven him surprisingly and moved back home. We were at Wayne enterprises with lian and Colin just showing them the works, they've been helping us run it Over the last few months.

"Damian our appointments at 1pm we should get going" I remind him as he nods. "I'll go tell Tim and Steph before we go" I walk out to across the hall and walk in but quickly stop "so this is what you do behind closed doors, huh" I say smugly as I catch them about to do it well at least trying to or was going to. "I really gotta learn to knock and maybe I won't walk in on people about to have sex" I quietly mumble to myself.

"Anyway me and Damian are gonna go to find out the gender, Colin and lian are watching our sector so hold down the fort while we're gone k, you may continue" I say turning to leave.

Damian meets me outside his/our office "remember to video call me for the party thing" lian yells as I nod.

We arrived at the clinic and sit in the waiting room, I rest my head on Damian's shoulder "tired?" I hum in response. "Mrs Wayne" my doctor calls.

"You're here to find out the gender correct?" She asks and I nod smiling as I lie down on the bed.

She lifts my shirt and puts the cold gel on my belly "it's cold" I whine and shiver. An image pops on the screen and I can hear the heartbeat of our baby "that's our baby" I say smiling up at Damian who pecks my lips.

I get my phone out and video call lian, she instantly picks up "ooh show me my niece or nephew" I give the phone to the doctor and she quietly tells lian what the gender is.

She hand me back the phone and wipes the gel off "congrats mr and mrs Wayne you have a very healthy baby, see you in the next trimester and If you have any questions just give me a call" she says before sending us off.

We leave to go to the manor as soon as we enter everyone bombards is with questions "so is it a girl or boy?" "Do I have a niece or nephew?" "I think the god father should know"

"First of all we don't know the gender and second of all who said your the god father?" I reply. "It's just a suggestion"

"It's gonna be a surprise until the gender reveal party tomorrow" Damian tells them. "I don't care about the gender of my grandkids, we're gonna be making memories when I give em their first gun, just like I did with you" dad says
"Dad, I ended up shooting uncle Roy and saying my first curse word" i say exasperated.

"Let's hope little Jason is more advanced than you then" he says jokingly.
