Dabi {Puppy}

It was an exhausting day. The ravenette sighs as he walks faster, eager to see his darling.

The heavy snow that fell on the man's head was enough to indicate that it was that time of the year. He couldn't wait to get home, excited to find you waiting for him as you give him the brightest and warmest welcome.

While walking to your home, he stops to find a familiar figure outside crouching, with no sort of warm material engulfing their small body.

"You're gonna get sick, you know.", Dabi states as he walks over, realizing it was you.

"Ah! Dabi!", you greet with your signature, gentle smile.

"What're you doing outside, doll?", he asks, leaning over to see what you were crouching for.

Your smile turned into a frown as Dabi just raises his brow.

It was a small dog, with his leg badly injured. It must've been scared to see Dabi since he hid behind his tail after the man leaned over him.

"I-I heard him whimpering and immediately w-when I went over to check, the poor thing was getting beaten up by a bunch of teenagers.", you explain, hurt emitting in your voice.

Dabi couldn't help but chuckle at your innocence. The teenagers were going to pay for making his Y/N sad and hurting the dog.

"D-Dabi...", you tug his hand with glassy eyes, "Can we keep him?", you ask as Dabi glances over at the dog. What the hell? You and the dog were both giving him the puppy eyes.

He sighs, knowing he could never say no. Besides, having a dog to accompany while he's gone wouldn't be so bad.

"Fine, but let's go inside. You're freezing.", he motions his hand. You gladly take it as you hold the small puppy in your other hand.

"Thank you, Dabi.", you smile at him as you three went inside.

Dabi couldn't help but clench his chest as his heart flutters. What were you doing to him? You're making him soft, dammit.

"What should we name him?", you ask, going inside the bathroom to get the medical kit.

"Anything's fine with me.", he says, walking over to the puppy, who was laying on the couch.

"Hmm... I don't know either. L-Let's call him 'Baby' for now. Y-You know, s-since he's our...", you mutter shyly, walking over to them.

Dabi takes this as his advantage, knowing you're flustered.

"I thought I was your baby?", he teases, making flush a darker red.

"I... Um.. Y-You are!.. B-but he's..", you were going to faint any minute now and Dabi didn't want that since he wanted to spend some time with you first, so he just ruffles your hair while chuckling.

"I know, princess. C'mere.", he laughs, patting the floor beside him for you to sit.

After the dog was aided, the happy little cinnamon roll ran around like there was no tomorrow.

You scoot over to your boyfriend, who wrapped his arms around, warmth coming out of his body. Making you melt into his touches.

The dog barks happily as he sits on your lap. It seems like he enjoys Dabi's presence as well since he stood up and laid beside Dabi.

"Well, what do you know. Baby likes me very much.", Dabi laughs, emphasizing the 'Baby'.

You blush a little but giggled after since the dog was actually squishing his own cheek against Dabi's hand.

"He does, actually.", you utter softly.

"Thought I'd have competition in getting my Y/N's attention. But, seems like you're the type to share.", he says, talking to the dog.

Your heart melted at the sight and you couldn't help but fawn over the scene. "Dabi...", you sniff, with your eyes in pure awe.

You two couldn't wait until you had a family. You both knew it was going to be a very loving one.

he ain't raising his child like his dad (I am loving the Dabi-is-a-Todoroki theory and so is the entire fandom of BNHA)

But, yeah, he's going to be a good dad, okay? I mean, he'll be scared at first but he'll come around and love his child
