Chapter twenty-one.

‘Omygod look at that dress, it’s so pretty!’ Solange yelled happily as she pointed to a cute dress. 

The dress was indeed beautiful and I couldn’t stop looking at it, it was so cute and I could totally picture myself wearing it. Rowan grabbed my arm and dragged me into the store. 

‘You are going to buy that dress Ali,’ she said as she looked for my size and pushed the dress in my hands. 

‘But when am I going to wear it? You know I’m not really a dress person..’ 

Rowan rolled her eyes and dragged me towards the changing rooms ‘You can always wear it on your date with Ashton, I’m sure there will be one soon so shut up and try it on!’ 

I laughed and disappeared in one of the small changing rooms. I could hear the other girls giggle while I tried on the very cute dress and when I looked in the mirror I immediately fell in love even more, it fitted perfectly. A smile appeared on my face and I walked out of the little room to show the girls the dress. 

‘Omygod Ali, you look absolutely stunning in that dress,’ Solange said as soon as she saw me. 

Rowan looked at me with her mouth wide open and Lizzy and Summer both had a big grin on their faces. 

‘If you’re not buying that dress I’m going to kill you,’ My best friend mumbled.

Summer laughed ‘I guess what she means it that you should really buy it cause it fits you perfectly.’ 

Lizzy grabbed my hand and set me in front of this big mirror ‘Ash is going to love this dress,’ she giggled as she swept my long hair over my shoulders. 

Solange handed me a pair of pumps and when I had those killer shoes on my feet they all nodded with big smiles ‘Perfect!’ 

A few minutes later we walked out of the store, I bought the dress and the shoes and I actually felt really excited to wear them. The girls were all very excited too and I must say that it looked like they were up to something. 

‘Guys! I see my boyfriend,’ Lizzy giggled and before we could ask her what she meant she ran into a shop. 

We all followed and when we saw what she meant we all burst into laughter. Lizzy was standing next to a cardboard Niall, she hugged it tightly and pouted towards the board.

‘Why are you so quiet Niall?’ 

‘He looks a bit stiff,’ Solange giggled. 

I chuckled and pointed over to a Harry cardboard ‘You’re boy is not much better Sow.’ 

She gasped and ran towards Harry, just like Lizzy she grabbed the board and poked his cheek ‘You look like you’re photoshopt babe,’ she said with a straight face. 

‘Do we know them?’ Rowan chuckled when the two girls continued to talk to the cardboards. 

I laughed and walked towards all the fan stuff ‘They also have our boys girls!’ I yelled when I saw a poster of the 5SOS boys. 

They actually had lots of stuff, there were posters, notebooks, diaries, bracelets, bags and mugs. I grabbed a mug and smiled when I saw my best friend’s huge grin, Ash always looked so happy and excited. 

‘I’m buying this one!’ I yelled as I held up the mug to show the other girls.

After two hours of non stop shopping we decided to take a break and find a place to eat. We ended up in a really cute restaurant and we all ordered the club sandwich which our waitress recommended. 

‘I love shopping, but I hate how my legs are feeling numb right now,’ Rowan whined as she lifted up her legs and let them rest on the chair in front of her. 

I chuckled ‘If Luke was here he would probably carry you.’ 

Rowan her cheeks turned red ‘The worst part is that he probably really would, he’s way to cute and caring for his own good.’ 

I smiled ‘But you totally deserve someone like Luke.’ 

The other girls agreed with me and when the waitress came with our food we were in a deep conversation about our boys. 

The girl who brought our food smiled ‘You all sound adorable talking about your boyfriends!’ 

We giggled and thanked her before we all attacked our food like we hadn’t eaten in days. Half way through our meal Solange came with the idea to listen to a radio app so we could hear the boys interview. Because we were the only one in the restaurant we played it out loud and we immediately heard Ashton laughing. I grinned and with a smile I started eating again. We listened to the boys singing Amnesia and Good Girls and how they answered lots of questions, from the fans but also from the radio DJ’s. When the subject about relationships and girlfriends came we all tensed except for Solange and Lizzy, they just frowned. We waited for the boys to answer the question and I sighed when they thankfully got the chance to avoid it and talk over it. I didn’t know why but it made me feel nervous and sad, I didn’t want to hear Ash talk about Isabel and Luke and Mikey also couldn’t talk about Rowan and Summer which made me sad too. 

‘They really need to go to management,’ Solange mumbled when she saw the looks at our face when the DJ asked the question again. 

I sighed and squeezed Rowan’s hand when Luke told the radio DJ he was still single. I hated to see my best friend sad and I knew Solange was right. The boys deserved to be happy and even though some fans would probably get really jealous, I knew a lot of them also would be very happy for them. 

‘So no one of you has a crush on someone?’ the interviewer asked again. 

There fell a short silence and we could hear someone sigh ‘Okay.. I actually do..’ Luke slowly said.

‘Really? Why don’t you tell us about her, what is she like?’ the DJ asked happily. 

Luke chuckled ‘All I can tell you is that she is absolutely amazing.’ 

‘Nothing more? What’s her name?’ 

‘Nothing more. I’m sorry but I’d like to keep the rest private for now, if we’re ready to talk about relationships we will come to you. For now all of us won’t answer more questions about girls.’ Luke said, starting to get a bit irritated. 

‘So then you admit that there is more going on here, you’re not the only one who has his eye on someone. Michael what about you?’ 

I felt myself getting angry, this guy was testing how far he could go and I was afraid that one of the boys would eventually break and say something they would regret. When I looked around me I saw that all the girls had a serious look on their face. We we’re all annoyed by this man and I was curious what the boys were going to say next. 

‘Like Luke said, we will not answer any more questions about this subject,’ Ashton said and I was surprised how calm and cold he sounded. 

‘Okay.. What about Alison? She’s your best friend right? How is it to have her with you on tour?’ The man fired back immediately . 

I really stared to hate this guy. 

‘It’s great, I missed her a lot when she was back home in Australia. She’s an amazing friend and I’m really happy to share this experience with her.’ Ashton said, I could hear he was trying to stay polite. 

‘So you’re not in love with her?’ 

This man wanted to get in trouble. I knew Ash was probably clenching his jaw right now, his hands into fists and tapping his feet, he always did that if he was getting angry but needed to stay calm.
