*Your POV*

I dance around my little flower shop with my favorite music playing. Trailing a piece of silver shimmery fabric behind me, I prance to the counter. One of my biggest orders yet; three dozen white and blue roses for a wedding. Blue roses don't grow naturally so I have to dye each and every one.

My attention turns to the door as I hear the doorbell jingle. "Hello! Welcome to Wendy's Florals! Oh hi, Logan. What brings you here?" Across the counter stands the junior class president, Mr. Logan Sanders. Complete nerd and my future husband...I hope. I've had a crush on him since the 8th grade but I've always been too shy to make a move.

"Hello Y/N. I bring yet another order from my mother. As you know she adores her party planning." Logan hands me a sheet of paper with scribbles all over it. I quickly glance at the list and map out prices.

"Well tell your mother she's looking at around $100 for this order. I'm sure she knows our policies so I'll save the time and not ramble them off. Is there anything else I can do for you today?" I pin the order upon the corkboard behind me.

"I believe that is all Y/N. Thank you once again and I shall see you tomorrow at school." Logan signs off for the order and heads out the door. So cute and sophisticated! I grab the pen he used and hold it close for a moment. This is probably the closest I'll ever get to touch him.

Lost in a daydream, I'm startled by the doorbell. The pen flies out of my hand to somewhere unknown. Before me is my boss Wendy chuckling. "Dreaming about that Sanders boy again aren't you?"

"What! Pfft no." Right then Logan would've claimed falsehood. And as always he'd be correct.

"Whatever you say Y/N. Any new orders while I was out?" Wendy sets down her lunch box and sits at her desk. Meanwhile, I briefly explain Mrs. Sanders's order. She jots down some notes and we get started on our new task.

*Logan's POV*

I slam my book on the desk and storm out of my bedroom. "Could you imbeciles be quiet? I'm trying to read!" I yell down the hall to my brothers for the third time this night. Those children never know how to act their age. I go back into my room, shutting the door behind me.

I sink in my comfy office chair and pick my book back up. Tonight I am reading "Bookish and the Beast" by Ashley Poston. A classmate suggested it so I'd thought I'd give it a try. I'm usually not a fan of romance but this novel is fairly interesting. Makes me kind of wish I had a partner to love. But I have my books and work to keep me company. Before I continue my book, without realization I think to myself, "I wonder how Y/N is doing."
