"Ira, what the hell are you doing here?"
"Seriously, that's all you have to say after I traveled for almost an entire day for you?" Ira set her bag down and was watching my every move.  I quickly made sure to put all of my clothes so I wouldn't be naked at this embarrassing moment in my life.

Ryan whom was only half-naked walked over to her to try and make her stand up, "You need to get out of here immediately before I call security."

"But Ryan", she gave him a pouty look and started to touch his muscular arm, unfortunately he didn't have time to put his shirt back on, "I miss you."

"I need you to leave and I will call you once I'm ready." Ryan had that effect on women, because she took her things and walked out like nothing happened.

"Umm, what the hell?"  I approached the bed and calmly sat down; I was furious, but I'm sure he had more to say at this moment than I did.  "I mean you told me she would do something crazy, I just didn't think it would be this."

"I'm telling you, she finds ways to make my life a living hell", Ryan went to the door and locked the door to where she wasn't able to come inside.  "Scarlet, I am so, so, so sorry."
He was being sincere, but I really wanted to know how she even found out we were here, "Where do you think she is going to go?"

"Probably get a hotel somewhere around here, I don't think she knows anyone here in this country." His eyes shuffled a bit; he went to the refrigerator and poured himself a glass of whiskey and drank it all in one sip.  "Ira...what the fuck does she want?"

"Maybe she really does want to be with you again..." after hearing myself say that out loud, it took me to a place of reality.  He had a history with her, I didn't.  I mean, yeah, I'm a winter fling, but maybe he wasn't serious about me.
"Don't overthink this Scarlet, I don't want your mind going there", wow, he really did know me pretty well.  "We will figure this out, okay?"

"What's there to figure out, I'm sure something crazy happened and she probably needs you at a time like this."
"Yeah, maybe you're right." I didn't want to be right though. I could feel my blood boiling and tears starting to build itself a place around my eyes.

"You should go to her." I knew that my emotions were starting to get the best of me; I was only pushing him away, because I knew that they would probably get back together.

Ryan walked over to me and kissed me deeply, "You have nothing to worry about, I can see that look in your eyes."
"I'm fine, Ryan." I lowered my head so he couldn't see the tears that were going to swallow me whole.

"I know you're not and you have every right to be, okay? I need you to be strong, we can get through this." Even at a time like this, he knew all the right words to say.  "I am going to go down to the lobby and just talk to her.

Go out, do some shopping, but I don't want you to think about any of this."
"Okay...", How could I not be worried? Ryan and Ira together... especially in a beautiful place like this.  "Can you just please tell me as soon as possible if you're going to get back together with her?  I want you to be upfront about it and not be a coward."

Ryan came back to sit down next to me and wiped the new tear that was flowing down my face, "Scarlet." He kissed me again, making me savor every emotion and love him more than what I felt right now, "I will not get back with that demon-lady.  I do have to admit though.  She is going to test this relationship to the fullest extent and I have no idea what she's going to do, but I want you to know that I love you so much."
