Wonderland in the Dark

Chapter 6

Saying this now, I'm pretty sure Nagi is Lizard (his card only said 'gentle of wonderland') due to there be a lizard on his outfit and personality fits, like being helpful.

The day of the tea party to celebrate Yuki's unbirthday had finally arrived. Normally they celebrated their unbirthdays everyday until their actual birthdays. But they were busy sometimes and couldn't, especially Yuki since he had his duties as king. Besides this gave Sogo plenty of time to prepare food.

"You made all this?!" Mitsuki asked in awe. 

"Yes, with a bit of Tamaki's help. I made sure not to add any hot sauce to the food" Sogo smiled. He brought some hot sauce with him though since he liked things spicy. 

"All this for my unbirthday?" Yuki chuckled. "Thank you for the wonderful set up as usual"

"Happy unbirthday Yuki-san.." Riku yawned. "Twinkle twinkle.." he mumbled.

Sogo tilted his head, he didn't understand what Riku was mumbling. Then again he never did, sometimes what Riku mumbled he couldn't hear, other times he could hear a little of what he was saying. Though none of it he understood, it was nonsense about something.

"Rikkun is mumbling that poem again" Tamaki said. "Twinkle, twinkle, little bat"

"It sounds like twinkle twinkle little star...but the words are a bit different" 

Riku laid his head on the table, napping peacefully, the others let him be. For now they were explaining Wonderland to Sogo and waiting to see if Lizard and White Rabbit would show up. A few minutes passed and they were happy to see the two did show up. Meaning it was time for the party to start.

"You two actually came!" Mitsuki ran over to them and hugged them. The White Rabbit blushed slightly before hugging back while Lizard simply said "Oh!", patting Mitsuki's head. "Iorin, Nagicchi we have a new guest!" Tamaki said, pointing to Sogo.

"Ah..you're the one I followed to this world" Sogo said, looking at Iori. He recognized him straight away, though this time he didn't seem to be in a rush.

"I see, I didn't notice you following me" he replied.

"You seemed to be in a rush so that's probably why"

Iori nodded, looking at his watch while taking a seat next to Riku. Even though he wasn't in a rush he seemed distracted. Nagi smiled, leaning down and kissing Mitsuki before leading him back to his seat. 

"Nagicchi and Mikki are together" Tamaki whispered to Sogo. "I think he liked embarrassing him" It was clear Mitsuki was embarrassed by his blushing, he hit Nagi on the arm too. 

Sogo just laughed quietly at the strange group. Most of them had some kind of animal feature while he, Yuki and Tamaki didn't. It made sense that they did since their roles. But why was he stuck in wearing a dress and just what exactly was his role there?

"Um..Yuki-san, can you tell me more about the Black King?"

"Haha, I'm guessing these told you him and the trump soldiers are 'bad'. They're really not. Aside from a few small disagreements me and Momo get along well. As for the trump soldiers, they are generally friendly but when it comes to outsiders they get defensive, it's their job to protect our world. So it's understandable why they weren't happy to see you"

"I see..But why do they call them bad people?"

"Because they interrupt their tea parties a lot and since they report to Momo, they call him bad too for no real reason. It annoys them when someone does so, especially if you're not there to join them. Though it enrages them if you try to when you're not an invited guest"

Why did they not get mad when he joined them though? Maybe it was because it was let him join them or risk him dealing with the trump soldiers. Either way he would of faced someone's wrath but he managed to avoid it.

"So-chan is nice so he gets a pass!" Tamaki said, drinking tea happily. "Plus we like the stories he tells of his world"

He smiled slightly hearing that, "Is there a time when you guys do get along with the trump soldiers?" 

"Yeah, I like spending time with Ryuu-aniki, sometimes it's with him and Gakkun since they're also together. Tenten I think played with Rikkun a few times, we still don't trust him being alone with him. But Ryuu-aniki assures us he doesn't do anything bad so.."

Riku looked up to him after hearing Tenn's name mentioned. "He doesn't..we just play..he's not bad at all.." he rubbed his eye. "Also all those times was us being playful..kept forgetting to tell you that *yawn*"

"I guess if Riku says nothing is going on its fine then" Mitsuki sighed. "We'll lighten up a bit when he shows up but if tries anything we will go on defense!"

"..Okayyy.." 

He was glad his friends were finally going to give Tenn a break, maybe he could invite him to join them now. Maybe..He would need Tamaki's permission first, he was their host after all. 

"Ah by the way, Iori-kun. Do you think you can find a way to get Sogo-kun back home?"

"Maybe. But it'll take some time, especially with how busy I already am. I'll let you know when I find a way" Iori said.

"Thank you for your help, everyone" Sogo said happily. At least he made some friends he could rely on while he was in Wonderland. Unfortunately, sooner or later they would have to separate.  But that didn't mean he couldn't make some memories with them so they'd never forget their time together.

Suddenly he felt Tamaki wrap an arm around his waist, he looked over confused. No one else seemed to of noticed the action since they were distracted, talking amongst themselves and eating. Tamaki held a finger to his lips to tell him to stay quiet.

He continued to stare in confusion as Tamaki ate the food like nothing was happening while he still had an arm around Sogo. Would he ever understand anything or anyone in this world.

After a few minutes of eating and talking, Tamaki stood up and pulled Sogo along with him, saying they'd be right back. He lead Sogo through the castle until they reached a small garden. 

"Tamaki-kun, why are we here?"

"I wanted to talk" he turned around and hugged Sogo. "Do you miss your world already?"

"Of course I do. But I'm happy to be able to explore your world. Besides it'll be a while before I can leave, so take good care of me"

"Okay!" Tamaki said, pulling away from him. "I'll show you around tomorrow, So-chan. Now let's head back, the party won't be much longer and we need to bring Rikkun home" 

He nodded, holding Tamaki's hand and leading him back to the room the party was set up. When they got back basically all the food was gone by then. Riku was napping again and Iori had disappeared. Probably off to deal with more work, he wondered if he'd ever get a break. 

"I think it's time to wrap up this little party. Don't worry about cleaning up, I'll have someone else take care of it" Yuki said as he stood up. 

With that Mitsuki grabbed Nagi's arm and began dragging him out of the room. Tamaki walked over to Riku, shaking him awake. He seemed confused before noticing they were the only ones left. Slowly getting up, he let Tamaki and Sogo walk him home, it wasn't unusual since it was to make sure he got home safely. After waving goodbye he walked into his house while the two returned home as well.

Maybe he'd go play with Tenn again tomorrow and celebrate his unbirthday. Did he even know what an unbirthday was? He'd ask when he saw him again.
