a/n : it's been a little while since i updated this book. but it's better late than never because i really do love this story ;))))

~Han Jisung~

"Hey, you doing okay?" Minho's hand was intertwined in mine. He really did come back, he stayed by my side this whole time.

I tried to sit up, but it only caused me pain. Minho quickly laid me back down. "Don't do that, you have a bad concussion. You got hurt really badly, Jisung. I was...really worried."

"You know Minho, I really wasn't lying. I really do want to try at this whole love thing. But now I'm afraid I'm incapable of it, my father never lies. Yet every time I'm around you, my heart goes a million miles a second."

I rested his hand onto my heart, and smirked. "See? It's going so fast."

"Oh stop that. Seriously, you should be getting rest. You can flirt with me later."

Minho pulled his hand out of mine, slowly starting to get up from the side of the bed. I watched as he turned off the lights, and stood in the doorway just looking at me.

"Go to bed, you need sleep."

"C-Can you stay with me?"

"Jisung, I-I don't know. Maybe our parents are right, and we shouldn't be doing this."

I sat up quicker than I should have, and my head pounded so painfully. My eyes shut out of instinct and my teeth clattered. It sounded stupid, but this was for Minho. If he wasn't so important to me there's no way in hell that I would've stood up to my dad like that.

"Minho we both know this is what we want. I just want you with me, please, I won't try anything."

His glossy eyes looked me up and down, and he sighed. "Sometimes people can't have what they want. It's not good for them."

"If you don't come here and cuddle with me, I will throw this very expensive looking lamp at you." I raised the lamp above my head and tilted my head slightly, when I tell you Minho ran to my side...he ran.

"I hate you so much Jisung. And put that down! It was handmade in Australia."

I laid back down in the bed, extending my arms for Minho. He hesitantly sat on the bed and allowed me to wrap my arms around him. His head fell into place against mine and he frowned very evidently. His hand travelled up my side, resting on my waist.

He licked his lips, and moved his hand to my cheek. "This started as a way to ruin each other, so what are we doing now? This was a competition, now it's just forbidden my our parents."

"You can still ruin me, Minho. I'll let you win, but I will not stop fawning over you. I don't think it's possible for me to see anyone else the way I see you."

"Close your eyes and fall asleep. You need to rest."

~Lee Minho~

I had been laying with Jisung for well over an hour now, and I had just been listening to his quiet snores. I couldn't fall asleep myself because I felt as if I was this protective barrier around the sleeping boy. No one would hurt him if I stayed right here.

His hair was a little messy, which is my fault for running my fingers through it constantly. And his lips stayed in a pout even as he dozed off. He was definitely clingy, awake or not. His arms wrapped around my waist tightly and his head was nuzzled into my chest.

Jisung was just so...different. I had never met anyone like him. No wonder I had never fallen in love before, there wasn't a Han Jisung around.

I smiled at the sight before me, leaning down to plant a kiss on Jisung's forehead. The action made him stir a little and I held back a chuckle.

"Minho, sweetheart? Are you awake?"

I turned my head slightly, seeing my mom in her night wear. Her hair was tied back and she wore her signature smile. She slowly walked over to the bed, trying not to wake Jisung up.

"You can sit down, just be gentle so Jisung doesn't move too much. He needs rest."

She listened and rested her hand on my leg. She was quiet for a couple minutes, just observing the scene before her.

"Minho, I really like Jisung. I think he makes you feel a way that no one else can. I love that you have that. And no matter what your father says, I want you to know that as long as your happy I am too."

"R-Really?"

"Sweetheart, I see the way you look at each other. I can tell you both feel something by the way you're holding each other right now. I don't care what family Jisung is from, okay? He's a good boy, don't lose him because your father isn't ready for you to grow up."

"Thank you, really...just thank you."

"I'm going to get to bed now, and you try to get some rest as well. I'll lock the door before I leave, no one will come in here. Goodnight, I love you lots."

She kissed my forehead, and layered a blanket on top of Jisung and I. I closed my eyes, listening to her footsteps fade away. I could do this, I could love Jisung.

I looked at the boy again, pulling him even closer. "I could love you, Jisung. You just have to promise to love me back."
