Castiel's news took us all by surprise. Sam and Dean stand there in silence looking at Cas. "What?" Dean asks. "Bobby revealed some news about your mom. Samuel and Deanna had a son before your mother. They were young and gave him up for adoption." Cas says taking a seat on the couch. "So you're saying we have an uncle?" Sam asks with a questionable look.

"Yes. He lives in Arizona. He's a mechanic." Cas answers. "Ok so we just go down there and transfer the damn thing onto his arm?" Dean replays. Jackson starts to cry and I head in to grab him, leaving the boys to discuss their newly found uncle.

I wake up a few hours later with little Jackson beside me. Must have fallen asleep, I hear the guys in the front room still discussing things. Putting Jackson back to bed I join the guys. "So what's the plan? When do we leave?" I ask sitting next to Dean. I feel their heated states immediately. "You're not going with us." Dean says. I cross my arms and try to give him my mean stare but apparently I don't have one. "No. Keep pouting it ain't gonna happen. You need to stay here and take care of our son." Dean explains to me.

"So instead you're just going to leave me here by myself?" I say. "No, Cas will stay with you." Dean says capturing Castiel's attention. "Dean I had planned on going with you and Sam." He states. Dean slaps him in the shoulder, "Nope I need you here little buddy." Cas rolls his eyes. "Ok now that that's settled, what's our unlce's name?" Sam asks Cas. "Ironically enough his name is John." Cas answers. "Bobby said he's been watching you boys and to tell you you're both a couple of idjits. And when he found out about the mark he immediately began looking into relatives he found out about John and stopped there. Oh yeah and he says congrats." Cas finishes.

I smile as I imagine Bobby saying those exact words to Cas. Dean and Sam have the same knowing smile. Dean glances back to our room then heads in. Seconds later he comes out holding Jackson. "I heard him starting to get fussy." He says. "Ok so when do you guys leave?" I ask wanting to know how much time I have to spend with the father of my child. Sam looks to his brother, who is skillfully holding his son and making a bottle, for an answer. "In two days." Dean answers.

"In two days?" I say in slight shock. Dean turns aroud and looks at me as his eyes flash black quickly. "Yes, the quicker we get to this John guy the quicker I can get rid of this damn thing." He answers. "Dean I want to go. Please. Set me up in a room when we get there. We'll ward it like we did here. Let me go." He rolls his eyes and clenches his jaw. "Come here Jack, Uncle Sam will feed you. Mommy and Daddy need to talk." Sam says taking the bottle and Jackson from Dean and heads out front with Castiel. As soon as they close the front door, the air becomes thicker in the small dusty cabin room.

"Olivia for the last time, No. It's too dangerous. I'd feel much safer knowing you and Jackson are here with Castiel." He says. "I've been a hunter only half as long as you have, but I still know how to protect the people I love." I say. He slams his fist on the small counter, "Well please tell me how YOU managed to do so. Because I've lost my mom, dad, and Sam several times. Hell I even lost the one woman who gave me a glimmer of a normal life, and a little boy who looked up to me of all people." He shouts. The words slice through me like a knife. What am I to him? I gave him a son who will soon look up to him as well. I start to feel tears prick at the corners of my eyes, and I turn for my room. Slamming the door behind me. I sit on the edge of the bed, thinking. I get up and grab my bag and start shoving my clothes in. I do the same for Jackson. I hear Dean at the door. "Liv let me in!" He says softly with a knock. "No." I shout back continuing my task. He begins pounding on the door and shouting for me to let him in. I ignore him. After I've packed what I think will be enough I open the door and see Dean sitting on the floor in front of the door.

He looks up and sees the bags, and slowly stands up. "What are you doing?" He asks. I grab the car-seat and put it in my car. Sam found it, said it's safe and logical with a baby. Sam and Cas meet me at my 2014 dodge Dart. "Whats going on?" Sam asks. I grab Jackson. "I'm leaving." I say buckling my son in. "Olivia! Damn it Wait." Dean says shutting my driver door just as I opened it. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say it like that. You and our son, are my life but we have a hunter's life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I just don't want our son getting hurt, I know you can handle yourself, Babe." He says cupping my face. I feel the watchful stares of Sam and Cas. I place my hands over his, "Dean, I don't want him getting hurt either, but I'm sick of being away from you, I'd feel safer if we were at least in the same town." I say. He kisses my head, "Fine. Boy's look's like it's going to be a family trip." He shouts to them never taking his eyes from me. "Don't ever shut me out again. You hear me?" He demands in a whispered tone, and I just nod.

"Now head back inside. I'm gonna check up on Baby. Make sure she's ready." He says walking along side his baby.

I do as he said, and head inside. Sam gets Jackson out and follows Cas and I inside. "So what was that about?" Sam asks. "Oh just Dean being Dean. He mentioned something about a woman and a boy who gave him a chance at a normal life." I say as I lean against the kitchen counter and Sam sits at the table cradling Jackson. Cas stands by the door watching Dean. "Oh yeah Lisa and Ben. When I was in the cage with Lucifer I made him promise to have a normal life with them. And he did." Sam says. "Was he happy?' I ask. "He was content, not happy. He had thoughts and dreams of hunting again. It's in his blood." Castiel interjects. I hadn't noticed him now sitting on the couch.

"For the record, I was happy. And in the future Cas stay the hell outta my dreams." Dean says at the door wiping grease from his hands onto a red rag. Castiel's face goes blank and he continues to stare at the broken TV. "Alright enough talk of the past, We're ready to leave tomorrow." He says. Sam looks at me, then at Dean. "I thought we were heading out in two days?" Sam asks his brother. Dean walks over to the sink beside me, lightly nudging me as he turns the water on. "Yeah well I figured we'd get a head start." He says. We just nod, "Hey Sam you wanna go ahead and put him down in his bed." I ask and he nods and gets up to do so.

Later on that night we're sitting at the table talking about our most memorable life events and near death experiences or in their cases actual death. "I definitely have to say having my chest ripped open by hell hounds wasn't my favorite." Dean says. Sam laughs now but I can see it in his eyes it took them awhile to get to the laughing stage. "Yeah my time in the cage with old Lucy was a not so fun moment either." Sam says. "Wow your stories are more intense. They make mine sound lame." I say. "Oh come on, give us your best memory then." Sam says. "Ok it was my first hunt. Dad and I went to Chicago for a case. A couple of vamps were reeking havoc on the city. We linked them to the same ones who killed my mom. Anyway Dad got captured and I hid in the warehouse. There was only one left, dad did a number on the other four. I was so quiet sneaking up on the blood sucking bastard, I had my machete and swung back then quickly took his head off. I had blood splattered on my face. It's warm coppery blood was dripping down my face. The look on my dad's face was pure pride." I say with enthusiasm. Sam and Dean sit there with their mouths open. "Ok I'd say that's a pretty damn good memory. Sammy head out and get some burgers." Dean says, how can he eat after that story? "Ok. Liv your usual?" Sam asks grabbing Dean's keys I nod. "Oh and pie, Don't forget the pie." Dean adds. Sam rolls his eyes and swats his hand at him, "I won't." He says heading out.

An hour later Sam comes back with our food and a bag for Dean. Dean eagerly looks in it, and sends a disgusted look towards Sam. "What the hell is this?" He says pulling out a small box containing a fruit pie. Sam looks at him, "It has the word pie on it." He says taking a bite of his burger. "Damn it Sammy. I ain't eating this." He says throwing it back in the bag. I see Sam smile at his older brothers childness. I hope we can solve this mark of Cain problem and have this Dean around a lot more. This is going to be one hell of a road trip.
