[Hello and welcome to my first JJBA x reader full length story! In this story, we will follow the life of you (the reader) and the many adventures you encounter along side the famous Jotaro Kujo. Some arcs from the anime may be skipped to preserve the story telling aspects and some may be added. I am using Google Translate for any Japanese or French that is spoken within the story so my apologies if the translations are wrong or weird. Regardless, I hope you enjoy <3]

"So you're here again?" Your English teacher rolled his eyes at you as you stepped into his classroom after school for the fourth time that week. "Can't seem to stay out of trouble, can you?"

"A group of guys was picking on a girl," you huffed, dropping your backpack on the floor as you took a seat in one of the many empty desks. "What, was I just supposed to let that happen? Yeah right." Leaning back in the seat, you stared at the ceiling as you awaited for the time to be finished so you could go home.

"So I hear you're moving," your teacher broke the silence, having now closed the book he was earlier enraptured with.

"Yeah, what of it?" You sat up straight to carry on the conversation.

"Well it's a big move," he shrugged slightly. "Are you sure you're ready to live all the way on the other side of the world?"

"I've been studying my Japanese, I'm sure I'll get along fine," you reasoned, leaning forward on your desk. "My mom gave me four months to get ready so I'm sure I'll be fine."

"Tell me something in Japanese then," an amused smirk slowly wriggled it's way onto your teacher's face. He was anticipating your failure. Anger started to simmer in your blood as you looked at his pleased face when you didn't reply right away.

"Kon'nichiwa, watashi was Amerika shusshindesu. Anata, Desmond Sensei wa meinuda to omoimasu," a proud grin plastered to your face, you leaned back in your chair as your teacher had no response. Hell, he probably didn't even know you just called him a bitch.

The rest of your detention passed relatively quickly and before you knew it, you were on the flight to Japan. Sure, it was a bit sketchy, but you didn't care. A way out of that shit hole you grew up in was more than a blessing in your mind.

Still, the reason you were moving your whole life across the globe irked you a bit. Your mother had fallen in love with a Japanese man who was rather successful in his field of business. Rather than asking him to move to America so you could finish out your school years, she just decided to uproot your whole life. It didn't matter that much to you anyway, you weren't the best at making friends. You shoved people away your whole life, whether by calling them names or telling them to screw off. It wasn't that you didn't like people, but you were scared of being shoved away and being mistreated. It had happened so many times in your younger years that you gave up caring about people, deciding it was best to just be alone in the world.

No one mattered but you and your mom and no one was going to change your mind on that.

Your mother had chosen to move over the weekend, making the trip slightly more bearable, but you were instantly thrust back into school the moment Monday morning started. It was a new place with all new people and a language you hadn't quite mastered yet. This is going to be great, you thought bitterly as you prepared yourself for the long day ahead.

Four months of studying Japanese had actually done you a bit of good. For the most part, you understood signs and a lot of what people were saying to you, even if you did have to ask them to speak a bit slower. All seemed to be going well for you as you headed into the lunch period.

You found a quiet classroom to sit in by yourself, not wanting to tread the waters of public spaces filled with people who were going to ridicule you. Taking a seat at one of the desks, you opened your lunch box which was filled with foods that reminded you of the country you wouldn't get to live in again for quite some time. A sigh escaped your lips as you started to eat, homesickness already gnawing away at your heart.
