I Never Thought....

Its Just Cold

A few hours later Harry woke from his sleep to find that he was late to his 3rd lesson, which means he missed the first two. Slowly he stood and began his walk to potions. He hated potions just because he was so bad at it and it was with the Slytherins.

"Harry! There you are" Hermione yelled.

"Where have you been!?" Ron also yelled from across the hall.

"I-I fell asleep" Harry replies while rubbing his eyes.

Hermione quickly grabbed Harry and they all ran to potions. Snape was actually going to kill them, this is the latest they have ever been. Just before entering Hermione let out a deep breath

"Ready guys?" She nervously asked.

"Ready as we'll ever be" Ron and I both replied.

and we slowly opened the door...

The creak of the door got everyone's attention and all eyes fell on us three. Snape darted his eyes at us, mainly Harry though. He was mad and everyone knew because that large vain in the middle of his head popped out.

"Potter, Weasly and Granger!" He spat "you are all late, 6 minutes late!. I don't care why or how but points will be taken from Gryffindor"

"100 points each" he said as he grinned evilly.

"That's 300!" Ron squealed, only making the Slytherin's snicker.

"Yes Weasley that is 300, glad to see you can do math" he mocked "take your seats now!"

Harry, Ron and Hermione went to there usual spots on the front row. Snape was more on edge today so they would have to be more careful.

"Today we will be creating a death potion and I'll be choosing partners" Snape explained.

"Ron and Pansy"

Pansy scowled with disgust on her face and Ron stomped his foot, having a silent tantrum.

"Hermione and Blaise"

Blaise just crossed his arms and heavily walked over to the working table while Hermione just rolled her eyes.

"Lavender and Matilda..."

And he went on and on until he got to the last pair.

"Potter and.... Draco" he said in a mocking tone while staring at Harry.

"What! No way am I going with Malfoy" Harry hissed.

"Potter! Does it look like I care, 10 points from Gryffindor" Snape said sternly "Now get to work"

Harry's POV
I looked over at Malfoy and gave him a pissed off look and be clearly got the idea and scowled back. We both walked over to our bench and he started to read the instructions. I didn't bring my book so I just stood there looking at the floor.

"Potter what are you doing?" Draco asked.

"What does it look like" I replied nastily.

"Uh well go get the ingredients" He asked, surprisingly calm.

I just nodded and collected the items we needed. After I grabbed rats tails, toads legs and this weird black leaf, I made my way back to the bench.

"Took you long enough" Malfoy rolled his eyes.

"Then why don't you do it next time" I replied with a heavy layer of annoyance.
