Part fourteen

I laugh at Jungkook's face, he shoved two french fries into his mouth to look like a walrus. "Aish stop acting like a kid" I say as he giggles and starts eating the fries in his mouth, I look around the room and see people looking at our way and whispering to each other, "Ignore them" Jungkook says as he sips his pop, A young female comes up to our table "Hi, I'm Ahn I am your biggest fan! Could you please sign this for me?" She asks showing Jungkook a picture of him, "Uh sorry honey, I don't have a pen with me at the moment" Jungkook smiles as I take out a pen from my bag.

"Come on it's not that hard to sign a piece of paper" I say handing it to him, he looks annoyed and signs it. The girl bow down at me "Sorry for interrupting your guys' lunch" She says, "Oh please it's alright" I shake my head, "Here you go" Jungkook hands her paper back and she walks away "Thank you". He rolls his eyes "Hey, at least be thankful people praise you" I sip my water, I could tell he's staring at my face as I finish my food.

"Whew what a long day" I say as I take my jacket off and hang it on the closest chair by me. Jungkook clears his throat "Do you like being my assistant?" He crosses his arms, I shrug "Yeah, I like helping people" I say, His lips curve into a smile "Well uh I've been thinking, since my birthday is coming up I want you to come with me to Maldives and my work friends will come along" He asks, I widen my eyes "Eh!?" I say, "I mean it's just a thanking vacation since you decided to help me with assistance and my maid" He slides his hands into his pocket, "You can think about it for now" He turns around to walk to his room.

Wow what a nice thing to do. But Does he not realize that people are going to start assuming things? He's a nice guy but sometimes annoying and I gotta admit I've been feeling kinda weird when I'm around him but besides that, I can't ruin someone's birthday because I didn't wanna go, I don't even have an excuse.

I change to a piece of nightgown after taking a hot shower. I left my room and met Jungkook in the kitchen with his laptop again in front of him, "Hey" I say announcing my presence, "Hey" He looks at me for a few minutes than back to his laptop, I pour the hot coffee into my mug and sat down across Jungkook, I stare at him for a while before he turns off his laptop "Need anything?" He asks with his hands intertwined.

"So I've been thinking about what you said" I say placing the cup down, "Yeah?" He nods, "Yes I'll come with you on your birthday" I say, "But on one condition" I point at him, He nods "What?", "I get to bring three of my friends so I don't feel lonely around boys" I cross my arms on the table with a smirk, "Sure that's fine with me" He shrugs, I nod my head "Deal than" I stick my hand out to him and we shake our hands.

I sat down on the couch with my coffee while Jungkook was in the kitchen still. I text my friend group 'You guys have no idea what just happened!' - Me

I finished my coffee and walked to the kitchen sink to place the mug in, "You're too comfortable wearing that around me right?" Jungkook says as I turn around to him, "What? I always wear a nightgown, don't worry I have shorts under these" I roll my eyes as I pat his shoulders when I walk past him.

"So is that all?" I ask Mr. Wang, He nods his head "Yeah we both got some stuff prepared already in our heads" Jungkook shrugs beside me with his arm over my chair, "Hhm, we already let our staffs know and the news will come out in a few days" Mr. Wang's assistant says as he flips pages on a file. "That was quick?" I whisper to Jungkook, "Yeah, the collab is just about wanting to help people more not like those business war thingys" He replies making me snicker.

"Alright than, That is all Mr. Jeon and Miss Sana, Thank you for coming and wanting to look forward with this collaboration I appreciate it" Mr. Wang shakes our hands. "We loved working with you" I smile at him before we all bow down together and gathered all our stuff, Jungkook helps me with my jacket once again.

After going back to the penthouse and changing to a much warmer clothes, we both head out to see the fireworks at the New York Times Square.
As I was about to put on my mask, jungkook holds onto it "We don't need that" He shakes his head "Why? People are going to notice you" I say, He shrugs "Let them" He opens the door, I put the mask down on the table and followed him out.

"Why is it now that you want to let people notice you?" I ask him, "Well its the last time we'll be here for the day so why not" He says as we enter an elevator with other two girls, I smile at him, "Omo! You're Jeon Jungkook!?" One of the girls say and he nods his head, they both squeal "We're a big fan of you!" The blonde girl says "Well let's take a picture" He sticks his hand out for the girls phone before putting his arms around my waist and bringing me in the photo.

"Thank you!" The girls bow down, "By the way if it's not rude to ask, are you two dating?" The blonde girl asks, I look at Jungkook and he looks at me before he shakes his head, "Ah, well you two would look cute together don't worry about the jealous fans" She says as the elevator dings and we all head out, We all bow down together and going our separate ways.
"What a nice girl, her parents raised her right" I say looking at Jungkook, I see Jungkook's cheeks blush and looks away.
