Part eighteen

"Hey Sana!" Mark calls me as I walk through the upstairs halls, I stop by at his office "Hey Mark hows it going?" I ask him as I take my rubber gloves off, "Doing fine, my brain just needs some rest first from all those math work" He replies with a little laugh, I smile "Would you like some drink to cool it down?" I ask and he shakes his head, "No no it's fine I was just gonna go outside to get some fresh air while I wait for Mr. Jeon", "Ah" I nod my head, "How are you? I couldn't get the chance to talk to you these days because of work" He says.

"Oh I'm doing fine, you don't have to worry about me" I look down, "Really? Your hand doesn't look okay" He looks down at my wrapped hand, "What happened?" He asks, "I uhm accidentally cut myself when I was sorting the knives" I say, "Tsk tsk, clumsy you" He shakes his head again, "I'm completely fine though and it was just a small cut" I shrug, He raised his eyebrows "Alright" He says. "Well uh you can go back to what you were doing sorry I distracted you" He says, "You didn't distract me I just finished" I shake my head, Mark's phone rings in his pants and I spot the ID caller 'Ma girl' with a red heart beside it, "Gotta take this" He says and walks to his office.

Could it be his girlfriend? I mean a guy like mark with his charms any girl would be happy to be with him. I walk to the storage and put my things away, I feel a breeze behind me but I ignore it, and a pair of hands touch my shoulders, it made me jump "Wh-who are you?" I say frozen in my spot, "Kang Seo Joon?" The voice sounds familiar and I realize it when I quickly turn around, "Kai!?" I whisper- shout as I hit his chest lightly, He chuckles "You got real scared" He says, "Well no duh, you just creeped behind me like that" I say crossing my arms.

"So how you been?" He asks leaning on the door with his smugly face, "I've been fine" I reply, He nods "Good good, well uh heard you and Mr. Jeon are a thing now" He looks down, "Wait how do you know? I never told anyone" I ask, "Mr. Jeon? But don't worry he didn't tell the public", I sigh "Well yeah it's true he confessed last night" I say, "Well I'm happy for the both of you" He shrugs, I smile "Thanks Kai and I'm sure you'll find someone soon" I say and pat his shoulder, "Yeah but probably not soon" He tilts his head, "You never know" I raise my eyebrows, He nods "You right, well I'm here to tell you that I'll be moving soon" He says.

I place the towels on the shelf, "Moving soon?" I ask, "Yeah, I'm gonna be moving back to the US with my sisters and live my life there" He shrugs, "Seriously? When will you leave than", "Not sure, I haven't decided yet but probably next week" He replies, I sigh and look down "Don't worry I'll probably see you around when I visit" He holds my shoulders, I look up at him "Will you?" I ask, He nods "Yeah of course, you're my friend what wouldn't I do for you?" He says. I smile and he smiles back as I hear Jungkook call my name, Kai clears his throat "Well uh I should go back to cleaning the garden and the pool" He says before leaving the storage and I follow behind him to Jungkook, "There you are" Jungkook smiles at me.

"Hi what did you need?" I ask, "You of course" He pecks my cheeks and he wraps his arms around my waist pulling me to his embrace, "Hm I'm so excited to spend a lot of time with you" He whispers and I nod "Me too" I reply, we break up "How was your checkups?" I ask him, "Pretty boring and long but other than that, I got it over with" He says. "Well it's almost lunch time for you can I prepare you food?" I ask, he deeply sighs and puts a strand of my hair behind my ears, "You know you're like a mom when you're a maid" He says, "Well it's my job" I snicker, "You take care of everyone but don't take care of yourself" He says, "Well I like putting everyone first before me" I shrug.

"Now you don't have to do that anymore, I want you to take care of yourself alright?" He looks down at my eyes and I nod, "Mr. Jeon!" Mark comes up the stairs and walks to us, "Uh we have some problems in the office" He says and Jungkook follows him, "I'll be right with you" He points behind me and I nod, than get back to sweeping the floor. I should probably talk to him about him telling everyone we're a thing, shouldn't he tell me first?

"Alright thank you so much" Jungkook bows down to the old man in front of him before exchanging hands, Mark opens and closes the door for him and Jungkook walks up to me as Mark walks upstairs to his office, Jungkook follows behind me and sits down on the chair with plates of food in front of him, "Ooh looks delicious" He says before munching it down, "You ate already?" He asks and I nod, "Yes and I need to talk to you.

I sit down beside him, "What is it?" He sips his water, "Did you tell everyone we're together?" I ask him, He looks at me and swallowed, "Yeah, but I haven't announced to my parents yet and the public" He says, I sigh "Jungkook you should've completed it with me first, I just don't want anyone to spread it around and than we'll both get in trouble" I say fiddling with my finger.

"Sana, we live in a free world, since when was dating someone you like illegal? You don't have to worry about the public I can handle them" He holds my hands. "Alright? I promise" He raises his eyebrows and rubs my hands as I watch him continue to eat.
