Love Story (Sakusa Kiyoomi x Female Reader)

After Sakusa left (Y/N) at the front of her house, she just stared blankly at the ground. Still blushing from what Sakusa had just said to her. She wasn't sure what he meant by that or what his intentions were after saying that to her. She wasn't sure if he wanted to get to know more about her because he wanted to be friends with her or if he wanted to actually date her.

She didn't want to assume that he said that to her because he wanted to date her because she would seem self-centered and too full of herself. So for now, she will just assume that he said that because he wants to become better friends with her. Especially since she is the new volleyball team's manager and they will be seeing each other a lot more in the future.

(Y/N) also decided to not tell Eri or anybody about what he said and that he walked her home. (Y/N) was pretty sure that nobody knew that he walked her home except the two of them so it would be easy for her to keep this secret.

(Y/N) would have been more willing to tell others that Sakusa walked her home if it wasn't for that fact that Eri would probably assume that (Y/N) was trying to steal Sakusa away from her and is trying to actually date him.

For some reason, every guy that Eri has ever liked ended up having a crush on (Y/N). (Y/N) has never lead them on and made sure that she always bragged about how amazing Eri was to every guy Eri ever liked. However, it never worked and they just asked (Y/N)out for dates instead of Eri.

The last time that this happened, Eri yelled and accused (Y/N) of actively stealing every guy she liked because she wanted her to feel less than and more self-conscious. Luckily, (Y/N) was able to convince Eri that she never tried to steal those guys from her and that it was only by coincidence that they ended up liking her. But, it took Eri about 2 weeks to start talking to (Y/N) again.

So, (Y/N) just hoped that Sakusa didn't mean anything romantic and that they will continue to just be friends.

(Y/N) then walked into her house.

(Y/N): Hellllllooooooo. Anybody home?

Nobody responded.

(Y/N): Hmm. I guess I'm the first one home.

(Y/N) walked to her room and changed out of school clothes and into some pajamas. She then walked to the kitchen to make some dinner. She decided to make some chicken and vegetables. She only made herself dinner because she assumed that Eri and Rio were out eating with their friends. After she was done eating, she put her dishes in the sink and went back to her room. She started to complete her homework assignments from her classes. She had already completed some of the homework assignments during the school day and only had to complete a worksheet from math and history.

After she was done with her homework, she continued to do the rest of her nighttime routine such as washing her face, brushing her teeth, and etc. Once she was done, she just lied in bed and started to think about Sakusa.

(Y/N): I wonder why Eri likes him. I mean, he's a nice guy to talk to and isn't ugly, but she hasn't even had a conversation with him yet. Oh well, I never really understood crushes anyways. I should also good to sleep now.

It was true that (Y/N) never really understood the whole idea of crushes because she has never had one before. Yeah, she thought some guys were attractive, but she never wanted to date any of them. That's why it was a really stressful time for her when Eri started to accuse her of stealing every guy she liked.

The Next Morning

(Y/N) and Eri woke up on time today, unlike yesterday. They both did their morning routines for school and then headed out the door to go to school.

(Y/N) looked up at the sky and noticed that it looked a little dark and cloudy.

(Y/N): Hey Eri, do you think it's going to rain today?

Eri: Hmm?

Eri looked up at the sky.

Eri: It looks like it, doesn't it? But I think it will be nice if it rains.

(Y/N): Yeah, that's true. It hasn't rained in a while anyway.

(Y/N) and Eri continued to walk to school and talk about what happened last night. Eri told (Y/N) that she had a fun time hanging out with her teammates and hopes that she can hang out with all of them again soon. She also wants (Y/N) and Itō to finally meet them.

(Y/N) told Eri that she just went to the boys' volleyball practice and then went home.

Once they got to school, they decided to hang out in the garden where they usually had lunch because they had time to spare since they got up on time today.

When they got to the garden, they just continued to talk about their lives and any gossip they heard around school. According to Eri, almost every girl on the girls' volleyball had a crush on Sakusa or has had a crush on him in the past.

(Y/N): He's quite the female magnet.

Eri: I know right. Looks like I have a lot of competition.

(Y/N): Don't worry you got this. You'll beat them all.

Eri: Thanks, I need the encouragement.

(Y/N) and Eri continued to talk until it was time for them to go to class.
