Not feeling it

Outside of Marinette's house, Luka and Marinette stopped at the stairway.

Marinette: I better get inside.

Luka: If either Adrien or Cat Noir scares you again, just ring me and I'll be there.

Marinette: Okay. Gotta go in. *She goes upstairs to the door and Luka walks to his house. Marinette opened the door and she see her parents in the living room. *

Sabine: Oh hi Marinette, how was school?

Marinette: Um, something.

Tom: What's wrong?

Marinette: Nothing, just going upstairs.

Sabine: Okay, if there's something you want to talk about, let us know, okay?

Marinette: Okay. *She go upstairs to her room and lay on her bed, Tikki flew out. *

Tikki: Why didn't you tell your parents, Marinette?

Marinette: I don't wanna pressure myself when I tell them. I'll tell them when the time's right. But in the meantime, I better get some rest. My head's still sore.

Tikki: Okay. I'll let you know when there's an Akuma attack.

Marinette: Okay. *Marinette closes her eyes and falls asleep. *

In Adrien's house, Gabriel stands in front of Adrien, all angry and frustrated with him.

Gabriel: You disappointed me, Adrien. I told you to stick with your good side and you failed it!
Adrien: But father... *Gabriel punches Adrien in the arm. *

Adrien: Oww!

Gabriel: Don't interrupt me when I'm talking. You blunged Marinette with a broomstick, you're lucky she's alright or you would be dealing with serious consequences like being locked in a basement for the whole day. You couldn't control yourself, couldn't you?

Adrien: I'm sorry Father, it's this jealousy thing inside me. *Suddenly, Gabriel slapped him across the face. * Owww!

Gabriel: That's still no excuse! You're grounded until your suspension is up, I want you to write Marinette a strongly worded apology letter and don't even try sneaking out of this house, understand?

Adrien: Y-yes father. 🥺

Gabriel: Go to your room and get started. I have my work to be done when you know I don't like to be disturbed. If only your mother was here to see how you're acting right now. *Adrien gets up and goes to his room, he angrily slammed his bedroom door, put his bag on the bed, and goes to his table and pouts angrily. *

Plagg: Hey, easy on how you put me down, kid. I'm not a rag doll.

Adrien: S-Sorry Plagg. I messed up big time. My father hates me now, I did hurt Marinette, she didn't deserve that at all. I'll have to write this apology letter to her, hopefully, she'll forgive me this time.

Plagg: I'm sure she will. *Adrien gets out a pen and starts writing his letter to Marinette. *

A cheese shop, cheese employee named Fritz is not doing so well in his new cheese shop. His boss, Mr. Roberts thought about closing the cheese shop.

Mr. Roberts: How are we doing, Fritz?

Fritz: Not good, Mr. Roberts. We haven't had a customer all day.

Mr. Roberts: I knew this day would come. I'll have no choice but to close up shop.

Fritz: Nononononono, what if there was a way to get this place back in business?

Mr. Roberts: I'm sorry, Fritz. We tried everything: petitions, and advertisements, but nothing worked. We'll have to close up. I'm sorry. *He walk back to his office, Fritz looked sad and disappointed. In the boathouse, Luka checked his phone and nothing from Marinette. *

Juleka: How's Marinette doing?

Luka: Haven't heard from her yet. Still can't believe Adrien would ever do that.

Juleka: I think I know why. He's jealous that you were spending too much time with Marinette.

Luka: So that's what it was all about?

Juleka: Yeah. We were all concerned about him acting like that. Don't know how it happened, but it has happened for a while.

Luka: Wow. I have to talk to her.

Juleka: hey, I'm sure she's fine. Adrien did hit her pretty hard with the broomstick, she must be resting.

Luka: Okay, maybe you're right. I don't know why I was getting all worked up. *Juleka put her hand on Luka's right knee. *

Juleka: I understand you love Marinette and you wanna protect her, but she can handle herself. Just gotta trust her.

Luka: Maybe you're right.

Juleka: She's gonna be fine, visit her later today or probably tomorrow, whatever day is better for you.

Luka: Okay then.
