Your POV
"(Y/n)! Get out here, Hop's here!" Gloria yelled to me, clearly annoyed. "Coming!" I hopped off my bed and walked to the front door where the pair of opposites were. "Hey, Hop." I greeted with a short wave and a smile. "Hiya!" He waved back with his usual wide grin. "Guess what, Lee's coming back to Postwick!" He exclaimed abruptly, taking my hands in his. "Really?! I can't wait to meet him!" I exclaimed back euphorically."Sorry, but you aren't going." Gloria stated, placing her hands on her hips in the process. "What, why?!" I asked in shock. "Yeah, why Gloria?" Hop urged. "Because she's—ugh, fine! She can come." My chestnut haired sister gave up, surprisingly quick. Hop and I smiled at each other before Gloria and I grabbed our things. "Victor, get off your phone and come with Hop and I to see his brother!" Gloria demanded. Victor, who was currently in the living room, yelled something back that I couldn't quite understand.
"She completely forgot about me...again..." I thought sadly, though used to how she treated me. I just put on my black and (f/c) messenger bag since I had a feeling I would be needing it. We all headed to Wedgehurst Station, eventually seeing Champion Leon surrounded by a multitude of people. "Lee!" "Hop!" The brothers acknowledged each other. Leon then started walking towards all four of us. "So, are these your friends you've been telling me about?" He asked his little brother. "Yep." Hop answered.
"Well, I have presents for you all when we get back home." Leon informed with a smile. "I'll race you guys there!" Hop exclaimed before running off quickly. "Hey, wait for us!" My siblings shouted as they ran after the younger brother. "They sure are a lot aren't they?" The champion asked me with a light chuckle. "Yeah, but they're good." I replied, "Some more than others..." I finally started jogging back to Hop's place, which didn't take long at all.
When we reached the house, Gloria, Victor, Hop, and I stood in a line as Leon spoke. "Check these guys out!" He exclaimed with a grin before throwing three Pokeballs in the air, starter Pokemon popping out of them. "First there's Grookey, the Grass type. Then there's Scorbunny, the Fire type. And finally, there's Sobble, the Water type." The champion stated as each Pokemon did their own thing. "Um...Champion..." I called out to him timidly. "Oh, that was what I was forgetting! For you I have a special starter." Leon said before throwing out another Sobble, though it had different colors.
"I-Is that a shiny Sobble?!" I exclaimed. The champion seemed to chortle at my reaction. "Professor Magnolia said it's a gift from your parents." He explained in a hushed tone. I didn't show it, but I was in such shock I couldn't say anything for a moment. No one ever brings up my real parents expect Gloria when she tries to say they didn't want me as a baby to taunt me. I try not to believe it. "Hey little guy, I'm (Y/n). I hope we become good friends on our journey." I introduced myself to it after a while, putting my hand out to it. Sobble seemed like a shy Pokemon, but it walked closer to me nonetheless. "Nice to meet you, Sobble." I smiled to it as it smiled back. "It's a male right?" I asked Leon. He nodded for clarification.
I picked up Sobble and looked to see that Hop had chosen Scorbunny, Victor had chosen Grookey, and Gloria had chosen the other Sobble. "Hop, look!" I showed him my shiny starter and his eyes lit up at the sight of Sobble. "Your starter's shiny? That's awesome!" Hop exclaimed. "I know right!?" I exclaimed back. "How come she gets a shiny one?" I heard Gloria mutter to Victor, though she wasn't exactly quiet. "Now, let's have a celebratory barbeque!" Hop shouted with glee.
Next Day~
"Let's have a battle!" Hop proposed. "O-Ok." I said, not expecting the proposal. Hop and I walked onto the battefield as Leon worked as the referee. Hop sent out Wooloo as I sent out Sobble. "Use Tackle!" "Use Pound!" Hop and I kept throwing out the commands a couple times before I finally took out his Wooloo. Sobble leveled up and learned Water Gun, which I knew would come in handy.
