Your POV
I headed to the Water Gym, only to find a fisher standing in front of the automatic doors to the big building. "Excuse me, I'm wanting to challenge the Gym." I said to the fisher as politely as possible. "Oh, so you must be a Gym Challenger, right?" She asked. I nodded my head. "If you're looking for the Gym Leader, Nessa, she's off at the lighthouse. The lighthouse is, well...If you head toward the sea from, you shouldn't be able to miss it." She explained.

"Thank you!" I headed towards the lighthouse, though at one point, I had to break into a sprint 'cause Bolt ran too far ahead of me. I ended up at the lighthouse quite quickly thanks to the running Bolt made me do. I saw Nessa standing in front of the fence, along with two statues that looked similar to a Pokemon I've read about before, Toxtricity. "Those statues look awesome!" I thought before focusing on the task at hand and walking up to the Gym Leader.

"You must be a Gym Challenger, right?" She asked before turning around and facing me. "How'd you know?" I asked her back. "You're one of the ones endorsed by Leon, right?" Nessa replied as she put a hand on her hip. "You've become something of a hot topic among the Gym Leaders. Here you go, Ms. Famous. I already heard about you, so you should learn about me, too." The Water type user then handed me her League Card.

"Let's head to the stadium. I love fishing, but I love Pokemon battles even more and I'm itching for a battle with you!" The dark skinned woman then headed towards the stadium. "Hey, Bolt." I called to the Puppy Pokemon. He looked up at me. "You don't mind if I use you for Nessa's Gym, right? Plus, you're the only Pokemon I have that knows an Electric or Grass move." I asked him. He barked happily and jumped around. "I'll take that as a yes." I said with a small laugh.

We both ran to the Gym and were ready for whatever Gym Mission was thrown at us. But, I then realized a small problem...I don't have a pokeball for Bolt. When we entered the Gym, I immediatly asked a trainer if it was ok for Bolt to walk with me. "Of course! As long as he doesn't cause trouble." "Great! Thank you!" And with that, I changed into my uniform before Bolt and I entered the big room with the Gym Mission.

It seemed like I had to hit certain buttons that would make the flow of water stop in certain pipes. I figured out the puzzle after doing the first couple pipes. Red, Yellow, Red, Yellow Red, Yellow, Red, Blue. And with that, I was ready to challenge Nessa. "You ready Bolt?" He barked excitedly. "Perfect, now...Lets do this!" I walked through the short corridor and onto the battlefield. I stood in the middle of the large floor, Nessa right in front of me.

"Welcome, honored Gym Challenger!" Nessa put her hands on her hips, "I think you already realize, but I'm Nessa. Sorry to have made you look for me. I don't doubt my humble mission's difficulty...Yet you cleared it. Your mind as a Pokemon Trainer must be quite refined." Her arms then fell back to her sides and she had a more serious expression on her face. "No matter what kind of plan your refined mind may be plotting, my partner and I will be sure to sink it."

She turned around and walked away so there was some distance between us. After a second, I did the same. Nessa sent out a Goldeen while Bolt ran in front of me, ready for battle. "Water Pulse!" "Spark!" Water Pulse did neutral damage, barely bringing Bolt's health down, but Spark oneshotted the opposing Goldeen due to a lucky critical hit. The blue haired Trainer then sent out an Arrokuda. "Aqua Jet!" "Spark, again!" The Spark brought Arrokuda's health to one HP and the Aqua Jet did a neutral amount.

"Bite!" Both Nessa and I told our respective Pokemon to use the same move, funny enough, but Bolt took out Arrokuda. Bolt was now in the yellow due to the Bite. "Looks like I'm down to one last Pokemon. I've been saving the best for last!" Nessa then sent out her Drednaw. "Flood the stadium and make it our ocean! Drednaw, time to Dynamax!" The dark skinned Trainer called Drednaw into it's pokeball so it could Dynamax, and that's when I realized a huge problem...I couldn't Dynamax Bolt...
