Your POV
I jogged to the PokeCenter so I could heal up the team after the unexpected battle with that Bede guy. I walked through the automatic doors and was immediatly greeted with the cold air of the center. I walked up to Nurse Joy, putting everyone in their pokeballs as I did. "Hello, how may I help you today? Would you like to rest your Pokemon?" The pink haired nurse asked. "Yes please." I replied as I handed her the pokeballs. I then heard Bolt bark at the door."What is it buddy?" I asked him. I looked up and saw..."Victor? What're you doing here without Gloria and Hop?" I asked the brunette. "I woke up earlier than them so I'm just a bit ahead of them." He answered. I then saw his eyes trail down to Bolt. "I see you have a Yamper." Victor commented. "Oh, he's not mine. I found him on Route 3 tied to a tree with a leash. I'm going to help him find his trainer in Stow-On-Side." I informed him. The brunette male made an O shape with his mouth before nodding.
"Trainer (Y/n), your Pokemon are fully healed." I heard Nurse Joy say from behind me. I turned around and grabbed the pokeballs off the tray. "Thank you!" She smiled at me as if to say 'your welcome'. "Have a great day and I hope to see you again." She said. I put the pokeballs into my bag and walked over to Victor who had finished buying some potions from the PokeMart. "So...are you going to challenge the gym?" I asked him.
"Yeah, that's why I'm grabbing potions. What're you planning on doing?" He replied as him and I walked out of the center, Bolt following close behind. "I'm just looking around for a bit and then I'll challenge Milo." I said. Victor nodded and that's when I noticed we were at the Gym's entrance. "Well...I guess I'll be seeing you soon?" I said, though my sentence was more of a question. "Hopefully." The brunette replied before waving to me and walking into the Gym.
I then saw a familiar Yamper run up to Bolt and I. "Hello Yamper, does Miss Sonia need me?" I asked the Puppy Pokemon. He nodded his head before running off in the direction he came from. I followed him and he eventually led Bolt and I to Miss Sonia, but what stood out most was this geoglyph engraved in the grass on a hill. Yamper barked, I assume, to get Miss Sonia's attention. She turned around and saw me after thanking Yamper. "(Y/n)! Two things, I have your Dynamax Band, and I would like to hear what you think of this."
The ginger haired woman then turned her attention to the hill with the strange geoglyph in it after handing me the band. "So, that geoglyph...What do you think of it?" She asked. "The Darkest Day?" "Exactly!" As soon as I brought up the Darkest Day Miss Sonia talked about at the Budew Drop Inn, I heard that howl again. "Why do I keep hearing that howl?" I thought while grabbing the side of my head. "Are you alright (Y/n)?" Miss Sonia asked. "I'm ok, just thinking." I said, lying through my teeth.
I hated lying, but it was necessary at times like these.
"A long time ago...a great black storm covered the Galar region. Giant Pokemon ran rampent...But what was that black storm they called 'the Darkest Day'? What connection does it have to Dynamax?" The ginger haired lady twirled the bottom of her ponytail with her finger before continuing, "Guess I'm the lucky lady who'll be looking into that...Gran sure gives me a lot to do." She muttered slightly. "Well, thanks for your thoughts on the matter! As thanks, I'll give you a league card."
Miss Sonia then procceded to hand me Milo's league card. I looked at it for a moment before putting it in my bag. "Just remember, Grass types are weak to Bug, Fire, and Flying." The woman in front of me said as she handed me two revives. I then saw her look down at Bolt who was by my foot. "You caught a Yamper?" She asked. "Oh, no. I'm just helping him find his trainer who lives in Stow-On-Side." I said as I shook my head. "Well, I'll be on my way now!" Miss Sonia then walked off with Yamper.
I took a look at the geoglyph once more before walking back down to the gym with Bolt. When I walked through the entrance, I saw Victor walk out of the door that lead to the gym and it's special gym challenge. "Hey Victor!" I walked up to him. He looked up and sent me a small smile. "Hey (Y/n), coming to challenge the gym now?" He asked me. "Yep!" I heard him chuckle ever so slightly, don't know why though. "By the way, before you leave Turffield, you should check out that geoglyph on the West side of town." I recommended.
