Your POV
I headed to the Wedgehurst PokeCenter, looking at the wild Pokemon as I passed the small route. After a minute or two, I reached the PokeCenter and entered the silent building. "Hello, Nurse Joy." I greeted the salmon haired woman behind the counter. "Oh, hello. How may I help you?" She asked."This Rookidee's wing is injured. I put gauze around it for the time being, but I just need you to try and fully heal it's wing." I answered while picking up Rookidee from the bag, causing it to stir. "Of course! I'll make sure her wing is as good as new." Nurse Joy assured me before taking Rookidee and taking her to the back.
A Couple Minutes Later~
Nurse Joy came out with Rookidee and her wing was as good as new, just like she had said. "Thank you." "Of course, have a good day!" Her farewells echoed slightly in the empty building. I walked over to the PokeMart so I could buy some Pokeballs while I'm here. "Excuse me." I called to the cashier."What can I get for you?" He asked. "Just ten Pokeballs and twenty Potions please." I replied. He grabbed what I requested and set it on the counter. I paid him, grabbed my items, then walked out of the PokeCenter. "Well Rookidee, ready to go back home?" I asked the small Pokemon. She didn't reply, she just stayed silent. "What's wrong?" I asked again. Rookidee flew up, now that her wing was ok, and perched herself on my head.
"I'm assuming you don't want to leave then, huh?" She shook her head. I smiled before taking out an empty Pokeball. I positioned it in front of her and she pressed her beak on the button, the Pokeball sucking her inside. Three ticks later, she's officially my Pokemon now. I immediately sent her back out and placed her back in my bag with Sobble.
"Now, let's get a ticket to Motostoke! Or...I guess I should say Wild Area." I headed to the station and purchased a ticket to the Wild Area and sat in a chair waiting for the train to arrive. After a little while..."Train to Wild Area is now boarding! I repeat, train to the Wild Area is now boarding!" The staticky intercom shouted throughout the station. I stood up, got on the train, and picked out a seat. I set my bag next to me while Sobble and Rookidee stayed in the bag and went back to sleep.
I just scrolled through my phone. I feel bad for leaving Hop, but I know I'll run into him while I'm on my journey. I shut off my phone and stared out the window, waving goodbye to my home as the train started to move. I sighed before setting an alarm on my phone for 6:30am so I would have time to wake up before the train arrived at the stop. I rested my head on the table and then drifted off to sleep.
Beep Beep Beep Beep. I slammed my hand on top of my phone and clumsily flipped it over, the screen blinding my tired eyes. I had to tap the dismiss button multiple times before the alarm actually shut off. Some of the people around me looked at me with annoyed faces, a sheepish smile forming on my lips in return.
I sat up and rubbed my eyes, yawning in the process. I looked out the window, and the vast fields looked absolutely beautiful! "Guys, look!" I woke up the two Pokemon in my bag, picked them up, and showed them the scenery. They cried out in awe before hopping on the table and playing with each other.
"They sure do wake up quickly don't they?" I thought with a small chortle. I went onto my phone and looked through my social media feed and kept seeing photos of people and their family having a great time at parks, museums, or just anywhere. As I was scrolling through the photos, I didn't notice my smile drop and my eyes start to tear up.
I felt Rookidee and Sobble poke at my hand in concern. "I...I'm fine guys, don't worry." I reassured as I turned off my phone and wiped my eyes. They cried out as if to say 'ok' and I went back to looking outside the window. I already felt ten times better looking at the beautiful scenery. After a bit, I felt the train jerk slightly. "Stop for the Wild Area has been reached, please grab your things and head to the station!" The intercom shouted in annoyance, the voice peaking the speakers.
