"Oh no, what do I do?!" I thought in panic. "(Y/n)! Why'd you leave earlier than us?" Hop asked, running up to me in the process. I gulped, still in a slight panic. "I just got so excited to start my journey, so I left early." I answered, clearly lying through my teeth. I really left earlier than them so I didn't have to deal with Gloria and Victor. If it was just Hop and I though, I would've left with him.

"Well, wanna go and register ourselves as official challengers for the Gym Challenge?" The purple haired boy asked, his usual grin present on his face. "Of course!" I replied happily, my siblings saying a simple 'sure'. Hop and I talked on the way to the elevator, Gloria and Victor doing their own thing. We reached the elevator quite quickly.

I then saw a Charizard appear in front of us, immediately knowing that Leon was about to show up. "Hello, seems like everyone is together! Great." Said man stated as he showed up. "I have something I would like to give you all." He then pulled out a Charcoal, Miracle Seed, and two Mystic Waters. Leon gave the Charcoal to Hop, the Miracle Seed to Victor, and the two Mystic Waters to Gloria and I.

"These items will make your Pokemon stronger if you let them hold them." Leon informed. I took Tidal out of his Pokeball and placed him on the top of my bag before putting the necklace around his neck. "There you go." I mumbled to myself. The shiny Pokemon let out a little cry and a smile was present on his face. I smiled back before putting him back into the Pokeball.

"I'll be seeing you soon!" Leon then did his signature pose before leaving with Charizard. "Well, let's head to the stadium!" I declared. We all went onto the elevator, though I wasn't expecting it to move the way it did and I instinctivly grabbed onto Hop. I felt him tense up slightly, but he put his hand on my shoulder to comfort me. The elevator door opened and I let go of Hop as his hand dropped to his side.

"S-Sorry for grabbing onto you like that..." I apologized, my cheeks heating up slightly for some reason. "It's fine, don't worry about it (Y/n)." The purple haired boy insisted, his cheeks a bit pink as he rubbed the back of his head. "Oi, can you two stop flirting and actually head to the stadium with us?" Gloria sneered as Victor just stood on the side, staring at the scenery around us blankly. "We aren't flirting!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." My chestnut haired sister shrugged it off. We all walked through the automatic door and I saw a bunch of challengers in the vast room. I was in awe at how many people were here, though at the same time not. The four of us walked to the counter, but a male with fluffy ivory hair and a big magenta jacket was already there. He seemed to be done registering himself as a challenger and walked past us, bumping shoulders with me in the process.

He didn't say sorry, but it was ok. Accidents happen. "Are you all next?" The staff member behind the counter asked. "Yes." I replied. "Alright, may I see your endorsments?" He asked. We all grabbed out our endorsments and showed them to the man. "You all are the kids that got endorsed by Champion Leon." He commented. "What number would you like on your jersey?" The staff member asked. "I would like (d/o/b) please." I answered. Everyone else put their numbers and we were done.

"Now, to Budew Inn." Victor said. We all went to walk out, but I caught glimpse of a girl with dark hair and a Morpeko along with the same boy from earlier before heading out of the door. A staff member for the league took us to the door and when we walked in, Sonia was there, looking at a statue of some sort of gladiator. It seemed to be of a man with a shield and a sword, each of them having a stone, the sword's blue and the shield's red.

"Woah, what in the name of Arceus is that?" I thought. Sonia looked over to me and the other three. "Oh, hiya! Looks like you all got yourselves registered." The ginger commented. "Oh hey, Sonia! What're you doing at our hotel?" Hop asked. "I'm researching the mysterious Pokemon that are said to be in the Slumbering Weald." The woman explained. As soon as she said that, I heard the howl of that strange Pokemon again. "Why does it keep coming back?" I thought.
