"

What more can I do

Oh, Baby all I want for Christmas is you"

"I'm going Christmas shopping." Said Jaren, poking his head from the kitchen. "So I'll be right back in... maybe two or three hours."

John looked up from his laptop and nodded. "Want me to come with or...?" He asked, slowly closing his laptop.

"I mean..." Said Jaren, sheepishly. "If you don't mind?" Before the Canadian could finish his sentence, John was already putting on his boots and black coat.

Jaren raised his eyebrow as John wrapped his neck around the blue scarf. "Damn, you're eager." He commented, grabbing his phone and wallet, shoving them in his pockets. He grabbed his white beanie and placed it over his brown curls.

The older male shrugged and held Jaren's hand as they walked out of the apartment. Jaren locked the door and smiled as they walked outside the apartment complex, going to the nearest Christmas shop.

"Okay, can we meet up right here in one hour?" Asked Jaren, shoving his cold hands in his coat pockets. "I want to buy a few things for my secret santa and my family."

John nodded and smiled. "Sure, I'll see you in an hour." He winked cheekily, walking towards a store that looked full of books.

The first ten minutes went by and Jaren was sort of proud of himself. He found three great gifts for his parents and sister.

The first was a baking recipe book, since his mom adored baking for as long as he remembered. He remembered every december baking when he was just out of school.

The second thing was a tiny two piece drawer for his dad. His dad collected a bunch of sea shells and coins since before he was born, but never had a place to store them. Even Jaren bought some small pieces of cushion for the coins and sea shells.

And lastly, he bought his sister a new sketchbook and pencils so she could take with her to college. His sister, Marie, was an artist for as long as he could remember. He remembers his sister always being on the top three to every art contest. He knows she'll love this present.

He got Toby for the secret santa thing he's doing with the Misfits, who were coming over in five days. Jaren stood in line for check-out, wondering what he should give Toby.

Twenty minutes later and Jaren was standing in front of a make-up store. He remembers Toby mentioning needing some eyeshadow and eyeliner since her's was running out in their last recording session.

He entered the store and walked to the eyeshadow section. There was a pallette with all the rainbow colors called 'gay disaster'. Jaren had to buy it, how could he not?

After that, the Canadian walked towards the eyeliner section and picked two eyeliner pens. He decided to buy two brushes for the eyeshadow as well because why not.

He walked to the check out and placed everything on the counter, the cashier smiling politely and checking everything out.

After paying for everything he walked outside the store and started walking towards a scarf store. Now something for his granny.

Jaren's grandma, Elle, was a sweet seventy-three year old woman who thought she was in her twenties. She was far more social that Jaren, and was really an open-minded person. When Jaren was questioning his sexuality and found out he might be bisexual, the first person he came out to was his grandmother.

Of course Elle would support her sweet grandchild. She often supported him and talked through his problems, so why would everything change if he liked boys too? She still loved him to death, and Jaren loved her grandma to death as well.

The twenty-two year old walked into the scarf store thirty minutes later and went directly to the solid colored scarfs. Granny Elle always wanted a yellow, red and blue scarf, but no one ever gave it to her. This year was gonna be different.

He found the scarf and grinned.

Perfect.

Ten minutes before the hour was over and Jaren was panicking.

He had no idea what to give John.

Well, he kinda did. But they didn't seem enough to show how much he loved John.

He walked around the shops, looking through each one of them, panicking. Clothes? Nah. Art supplies? John had way too many. Vape juice? John mentioned he accidentally bought more than he needed.

Five minuted in and he felt his anxiety come. What if he couldn't find the perfect gift? He really wanted this Christmas to be special for them.

The Canadian turned to his left and grinned.

There it is.

John grinned as he saw Jaren walking towards him, holding three bags from different stores in his left hand. He grabbed Jaren's right hand and grinned. "Did you find everything?" He asked, curiously.

"Oh, yes." Said Jaren, brown eyes twinkling. "I did."

"Good to know." Nodded John, looking to their left an smirking. "Want to drink some mulled wine?"

Jaren loomed into John's eyes and grinning. "Hell yeah."
