Chapter 16!

Hyungwon sat at his bed with a sleeping minhyuk beside him. Hoseok has left early, around 3 in the morning to pack up his bags and go to the airport.

Hyungwon still cant believe that hoseok forgot a ceremony to attend in Alaska, if his  manager havent called hoseok that he got the top three spot for the men Karate division. Hoseok would still have been in his apartment, sleeping away. Gladly hyungwon woke up at the sound of hoseok phone vibrating.

Nevertheless of the prior event, such as hoseok panicking and rushing out the door but giving hyungwon a one last kiss on the lips. Hyungwon felt like he was floating and his heart was kinda soft and yet a ticking tone inside his head was telling him that something's coming.

It was making hyungwon irritated to the point he cant go back to sleep. Left to hug and kiss minhyuks forehead until the first rays of sunrise came to a view.

When hunger finally hits hyungwons system, deciding to make a breakfast at the early hours of a Saturday morning.

The dilemma of what hyungwon been feeling inside just shown itself by a text.

Hyungwon felt a sudden horror, the pit of his stomach recoiling with fear as he took a deep breath. He regret picking his phone up, knowing that whatever it was in his inbox was something bad.

Hyungwon bits his lips as he realized that last conversation he ever had with his mom was three years ago. Their family speaks blood, a thing that hyungwon never wanted in the first place and so they settled on the agreement of forgetting each other.

He was only a Chae by name and not by blood.

But what made hyungwon so fucking mad at them, at her,  was the fact that she made minhyuk and yet she told hyungwon that he was a mistake.

A much more gruesome mistake than hyungwon.

And so in the age of 21, not even prepared for the real world - hyungwon has took care of his 2 years brother.

So whats with this sudden appearance?

Hyungwon really wanted to just ignore it but looking back, running away didnt cause hyungwon any good. In fact it did more harm than hyungwon expected and so he opened the message with slightly shaking hands and pounding heart.

and he could only hope that he shouldnt have.

Hyungwon tasted blood again. So torn between his moral of doing the right thing and yet the mention of going back prevents him.

Family.

The very cause of his solitude. The reason of minhyuk and him being isolated from others and mocked by his own blood.

The blood line that he already cut off himself but now its coming back again.

On the verge of tears, hyungwon ran a hand through his face. He vows that he wasnt going to repeat that mistake again.

Not now that minhyuks was on his hands.

Not now that he had someone he could actually come to love.
