"Welcome back, Mr. Chae"

Hyungwon shivered at the cold atmosphere enveloping the whole house interior. He knew that this welcome was invitable but hyungwon havent expected it to be like this.

"Thank you." Hyungwon said to the servant. "Where is she?"

"Still traveling from the overseas Mr. Chae."

Whispering thank god under his breath, he look around the house with a calm manner knowing that he could still take a breather before theyll meet again and so taking minhyuks hand, he started to take the child upstairs.

"Come on, minhyuk. Let me show you the house that should have been your home."

Hyungwon was still on edge even though he have showed minhyuk the house. He already explained to him, what he must and musnt do and where and how minhyuk should always keep a watch of himself. He always remind minhyuk that incase of danger, he should always try to find Mr. Namjoon.

He was stressing. He knows that, but he just cant stop.

One time, hyungwon was explaining about how he have a bathroom inside his bedroom when in fact - their apartment back home only have one bathroom and it was outside the bedroom and on that exact moment, Hyungwon accidentally said hoseoks name out of habit.

It was because hoseoks had taken hold of hyungwons mind. Even though theyre far away from each other, he's still the one hyungwons been thinking about.

Its not good for his health.

"Wonnie hyung, just open your phone. Im sure daddy's worried about you."

Hyungwon didnt want to listen to his brother. In fact, he was actually shaking. His brothers been non-stop prodding hyungwon to call hoseok with his persuasion skills and pouting lips.

He only distracted minhyuk with the kittens, trying to get minhyuk to play with them until his drooping eyes finally turned shut, him off to dreamland.

Now allowing hyungwon to breathe in relief as he covered minhyuk in a blanket and put the cats back to the cage.

Hyungwon, actually tried to know the kittens, he havent even realize that in the span of two months theyre already growing to a full sized cata. Hana, the black one was minhyuks favorite. Dul, was the one with much more appetite and on the heavier and fluffier side. Set and Sa are the ginger twins and pettier, avoiding hyungwons contact that he almost flipped the cats off. Then, there's Wo with its white skin and ginger beauty spot on the eyes - hyungwon found out that it was his favorite.

Maybe because of the fact that the cat reminds him of hoseok.

Hoseok.

Hyungwon could only touch the back of his neck as he tries to ignore that tingling feeling that hoseok would be really really mad.

Well, not just a feeling. Hoseok would be really mad.

Hyungwon knows what it feels to be left alone without explanation, straight up leaving you with just some fucked up statement and if there might be an explanation - theres so much that you wanted to ask them.

and yet hyungwon was doing this kind of shit to hoseok, lets just say that him not bothering to open his phone for more than 24 hours already - hoseok probably already got the message 'hey hyungwon left at 8 in the morning, he left you a letter' from hyunwoo and now probably calling hyungwons phone for the 100th time as he  reads the shitty letter after rushing back home.
