I think the secret thing the the Snow Queen whispered to Rumple about what he must do has something to do with Harming Hook. Which is why he is so pleased about having to do it. I don't think Hook will die though because he is a much loved character and because Emma has lost enough people, I don't think they will make her loose someone else. Especially since he's her True Love.
