Katherine's Pov
Nobody expected him to be here. Hell I didn't even expect him to find me or anyone. All this was unexpected and I didn't know how to react, not only was he here but he had Amelia's parents in his custody.
"Did you miss me baby doll?" Joey asked lovingly as he took a few steps closer to me, his body guards that held Amelia's parents followed him
I scoffed at him while narrowing my eyes. "Me, miss you? Never, you know exactly how I feel about you, you bastard," My voice was cold and harsh, he tsked me as he raised his finger and swung it side to side
"Now now princess, is that the way I raised you? You know the rules, show me respect or get punished," My heart was pounding against my chest, I knew the rules and I knew what would happen if I were to disobey him.
The rules were burned into my memory, he made sure I'd never forget them. If I were to act out or disobey him, he would immediately punish me. I was given no mercy, he was determined to have me tamed and under his complete control.
"I know those rules by heart but I'm no longer in your control Joey. Meaning, I don't have to do anything to please you and I won't do anything you ask of me. Hand over Amelia's parents, don't cause a scene." He's jaw clenched as he looked at me, he laughed angrily and tugged at his hair
"No no no! You're mine! You will listen to me. You can't go around ordering me, I will keep them as my personal possessions until I get my favorite and most prized one back," He took out a small piece of cloth that had a rose on it
Wait, that looks familiar? Isn't that the silk cloth I use to own?
He brought it up to his nose and took a deep breath, this actually made me shudder in disgust.
"It still smells like you Katherine, I miss having you around. It gets lonely," He took a step closer to me and Ashton walked up to my side, he grabbed my hand.
"What do you think you're doing, Ashton?" His voice went dark and cold, his eyes were practically black as he looked down at our intertwined fingers
"You're not welcomed here Joey, get out. Katherine does not belong to you," Ashtons eyes were pitch black as he spoke to Joey, his voice was cold yet calm
He was in total control of his emotions, Joey however seemed to be losing control. It was quite amusing actually but he was mentally unstable, him losing control wouldn't be very.. good for us or anyone.
"She's always been mine, Ashton. I'll get going now, I can't be late for the fun that's about to happen with Amelia's parents and I. Catch if you can." He smiled wickedly as he began walking away, his men pointed guns at us when they noticed me wanting to run after Joey
This is when Ashtons men came running in and shooting every single one of Joey's men. By the time I got out the house and ran doen the road, Joey was already in a car and driving away. I tried to run after the car but I didn't get very far, I heard Joey's last words before he disappeared.
"You've got one week to find them princess!"

My blood boiled, Joey will not take them away from me.
They're like my second family, I'd rather give myself up than have them die.
That's it. That's the plan.
He wanted me right? He's been chasing me all these years, what he wanted was so simple.
If I were to give myself up would he leave us alone? Ashton would be free of me, Amelia would have her parents back and they could live happily ever after.
I looked at her Amelia, she was sobbing on Matthew's clothing. He held her tightly and kissed the crown of her head, Ashton was running his fingers through his hair roughly. Trying to think of a plan to find Joey and get Amelia's parents back safely.
This might be my stupidest idea yet but it's the only thing I can do right now. I've been running away from him all these fucking years. So many people have gotten hurt and died because of me, I'm tired of doing this.
If Joey wanted me, he can fucking have me. I might die by his hands but at least it's not some innocent person dying. This was all fun but it's time I've put an end to this.
"I'm giving myself over," I said loudly, gaining everyone's attention
They stared at me with shock, confusion and anger. Well then, I should probably explain more
"I'm done playing his games you guys. Firstly I'm handing myself over to Joey, I'm getting your parents back safely and nobody is going to fucking stop me, got it?" I stood up and stretched my limbs, I wasn't sad about my decision
I mean, I'm doing this to save the people I love. They saved me many years ago and now it's my turn to return the favor
"Katherine, you're not doing that. We'll figure out something, my parents wouldn't want you to sacrifice your life for them," Amelia spoke sadly, her eyes puffy
"She's right Katherine, stop being stupid and sit down." Ashton ordered, I simply walked out of the room
They yelled for me to come back but I didn't, I placed my arms at the back of my head and casually walked out the house.
Amelia probably told Ashton to leave me alone until I cool off. But to be honest, I don't feel mad.
In fact I don't feel anything. This might be a stupid idea but it'll work, it's the only thing that's granted to work.
If you're wondering, no I'm not running away again. I'm just going outside for some fresh air because I need to think about when I'm going to leave or how I'm going to contact him.
To be honest, contacting will be easy for me. I know where he's mean are and if they see me, they'll take me right to them.
Ashton and Amelia really think I'm going to turn myself in without a plan. This caused me to chuckle.
I'm a female with a plan. Sometimes I think Ashton and Amelia take me for a fool, they think I'm some stupid and reckless adult.
They aren't wrong but there are certain things I know how to handle very well.
This should be interesting, I'll only tell them once my plan succeeds and I know it will.
Sure it'll be a lot of work and I might want to give up half way through but I can do this. I have— I need to do this.
