After almost losing Mira, I'm almost always paranoid. I keep the Ace of Spades on my hip all the time, and Jack is learning about Stands and how they work. 'Alright, can you see this?" I ask as Ace appears. "Yea, but isn't that one of Ace's abilities?" Jack asks. "Yes. Now, how about this?" I say and Shepherd appears. "I see a little bit of fire if that counts," Jack says. "I don't know. Shepherd, light my hand on fire." I say and my hand bursts into flame. "How about my hand? Is it on fire?" I ask Jack. "Yes! How, why, and put it out!" Jack says in a panic. "Oi, don't worry about it. It's just Stand power." I say. I put the fire out by shaking my hand and show Jack. "See? No damage." I say. Jack sighs and calms down. I chuckle and sit down. "Oh, shit! I was supposed to meet Jade tonight!" Jack says. "Need something fancy to wear?" I ask him. "Yea, think you can get something together?" Jack responds. "Yep, wait here," I say. I walk up to my room and get a maroon dress shirt, white undershirt, dress pants, and nice dress shoes. I walk back down and show Jack. "This work?" I ask as Ace shows me what the clothes would look like on Jack. "I think it would," I say. Jack agrees. "Alright, I'll put it in your room. Anything else you might need?" I ask. "Nope, that'll do. Thanks, Dad!" Jack says. Ace takes the clothes and puts them in Jack's closet. I walk outside.

"Ah. Well, I guess I have a bit of work to do." I say and walk to the counter cyber-terrorism building. I walk into my office and check-in. "Here we go again. What secrets do you have for me this time, terrorists?" I say and get into the White Mask main web page. "Let's see, not much activity ever since the new ops shut down a major base," I say. There have been a few messages going back and forth. I've just been monitoring them. I see that Grace managed to get into here as well and I chuckle at the messages she's sending. "Goddamnit, Grace," I say.  I pick up my radio. "Grace Nam, please get out of the White Mask website. You're retired, so please, get some rest." I say over the intercom. My phone starts to vibrate, and I pull it out. I see Dokka's icon on my phone. A text bubble appears and says "You're no fun..." I chuckle and send her back a message. "I'm tryna work, and you might blow my cover. If you want, I can show you how CCT (Counter Cyber-Terrorism) works." I get a message back not soon after. "No, thanks." Is all it says. I put my phone away and write one last report on the Mask's activity. "Seems like nothing, but 'London Gold' may be code for something. Keep eye on." Is what I write. I send my reports to Harry and leave.

As I'm walking out, the ground shakes under me. "Must be a chopper landing," I say as Blu meets up with me. "Yea, but why so close?" He responds. "You're right, let me call Marius," I say. "Hey, Marius, is there supposed to be a hawk landing this close to the living quarters?" I ask through my phone. "Nien, why do you ask?" He responds. "Cause there's one landing close to the houses," I say. Jager then calls said chopper from the radio tower. The chopper lands and a few masked soldiers get out. I have my hand ready to pull out the Ace of Spades, but I wait. "Who here is Colonel Stone of the USMC?" The tallest man shouts. Nobody responds except me. "Why do you want to know?" I say in my best cowboy drawl so that they can't pick up on my voice. "Just tell us, damnit!" He says again. All of the older operators walk outside now. "Ah shit, everyone's here now. Shepherd, any ideas?" I say to myself. "Not one, Jason. Maybe just tell them who you are." Shepherd responds. "Oi, you lookin for a Colonel Stone, right?" I say in my accent still. "Yes, now where is he?" The man yells and points a gun at us. "Right here," I say, dropping the accent. The men open fire. Shepherd blocks the bullets with fire. One of them grabbed Mira and Jack without me noticing he went inside our house. "Shepherd! Hail to the King!" I say. Shepherd lights a blue flame and I jump through it. A suit of blue flaming armor is put on me, and I get one blue flaming longsword. I rush at them. They try to shoot me, but the bullets ricochet off the armor. I cut two of the men in half, and the last one gets stabbed in the stomach. The last soldier has Mira and Jack on the chopper, ready to fly away. "Oh no you don't," I say and jump on the chopper. I hear a gunshot, but it hits metal. I get into the chopper to see Jack with a pistol in his hand and Mira on the floor, along with the soldier. I grab the soldier and throw him off of the chopper. "Jack, get the pilot to land," I say. He goes and convinces the pilot to land. I check Mira's pulse. "Come on Elena, get up. Wake up, please!" I say. I get a few low pulses. "Ja...son?" She asks from the floor. I sit on the floor and help her into my lap. "What's wrong? Did you get shot? I can heal you." I say and pull out Ace's deck of cards. She puts a hand on my cheek. "It's alright. I think that it's time for me to go, anyway. I love you, Jason." She says and gives me one final kiss. "These 20 years surely were fun, weren't they?" Are her final words to me before she dies. Jack hops out of the chopper and runs to Doc. I get up and shoot the pilot in the head with the Ace of Spades. I return to Mira's body and hold it in my arms. Doc and Jack appear next to the chopper. "Time of death, 2:27 pm. Cause of death, gunshot wound to the chest." Doc writes all of this down as I cry over Mira's dead body. "Every last one of them will know who the Shepherd of Fire is when I'm done with them," I say. I spend the rest of the day arranging funeral services for Mira.
