Once Marius flies us back to Hereford, everyone cheers at the sight of Elena and I's return. This includes two new operators I haven't seen before. One we land, I jump off and approach the two. "Who are you two?" I ask. The larger man sticks his hand out. "My name is Oryx. Nice to meet you." He says. I accept his handshake. "Jason. 'Ultra' on the field." I say. The lady now shakes my hand. "Iana. A pleasure to meet you. I've heard stories from the others of how amazing and ruthless you are on the field. Rage a factor in that ruthlessness?" She asks. "Correct. It helps me get over the guilt and regret of taking someone's life." I say. She nods. We walk back to our houses. I open the door to see Jack and Jade making out on the couch. I chuckle. They split apart quicker than a jackrabbit when you take a step too close to it. "Dad! Mom! You're back!" He says. He runs over to us and hugs us. He almost starts crying. Jade also comes to hug us. Once we split apart, he starts talking about his week without us.

"So, after you guys left, Twitch and Caveria let me stay at their house. They taught me about some advanced robotics and basic interrogation methods. Oh, Jade and I are also together, if you couldn't tell." I chuckle a bit at that. "So, how did Ela react to that?" I ask. "She expected so. She said she'd be damned if we didn't get together, Uncle Jace." Jade says. After this reunion, the base alarms go off. Way louder than they usually do though. "Alright, go to the basement and lock the door. Reinforce it if you can. Something big is coming." I yell over the alarm. Jack and Jade go and do so. Elena and I run to Harry's office. Once every operator is here, Harry starts his briefing.

*Start the song, it's great.*

"It seems that the White Masks are launching one final, all-out siege on us to shut us down. It also looks like they're willing to kill themselves to do it." Harry says. I raise my hand. "Yes, Ultra?" He says. "How many are there?" I ask. "1527." He says. "That's a very specific number." Iana chirps from the back. "Well, it is. But I believe that you 189 operators here, both new generation and old, will be able to put them out." Harry says. I raise my hand again. "189? I thought we had 190?" I ask. "We did, but unfortunately Thatcher and Capitao have been killed. We managed to recruit a replacement for Thatcher, but we still need to find one for Capitao." Harry says. I feel my heart drop. All the good times I had with Mike and Vicente are some of the best memories I've made here. Harry asks if there are any more questions. No one speaks up, so he dismisses us to go fight. We manage to put up some defenses in the very small time we have to prep. Once the masks are upon us, we quickly see that they are very skilled and deadly. "Damn it, these are the highly trained or ex-military Masks," Bandit says. "Acknowledged, Dom," I say. As we fight, we realize that we can't take them all. They've managed to pierce the front defense with ease, and have made it through 3 more. We're on the last two defensive lines. The briefing comes back to me. More specifically, the numbers. "1527? 189?" I think to myself. "Wait, this is also our last stand! We're protecting our Holy land. This is the Holy line, and they're the foe of a thousand swords!" I say. Elena hears me. "Jason, what does that mean and what are you planning?" She asks. "I can't explain it to you, it'd take too long. Just know that this is the possible last part of my grand scheme." I say. She gasps. "No. Don't. I... I mean Jack, Jade, everyone else, and I need you!" She says, almost crying. I quickly run over to her. "Listen, Te amo y siempre lo haré. Solo confía en mi. (I love you, and always will. Just trust me.)" I say to her. She nods and dries her tears. "All units, ceasefire, and retreat to a bunker," I say. They do exactly as I say. I step into the open area, expecting to be gunned down, but I don't. They stop to see what I'm doing. I sigh. "We're the one-hundred eighty-nine. In the service of Heaven. We're protecting our holy line. Against the 1527. Some gave their lives on the steps to heaven. THY WILL BE DONE!" I say. They start firing. All the bullets are deflected by Shepherd. I continue my speech. "FOR THE GRACE, FOR THE MIGHT OF THE LORD! FOR THE HOME OF THE HOLY! FOR THE FAITH, FOR THE WAY OF THE SWORD! I GIVE MY LIFE SO BOLDLY!" I say. I draw Cerberus and jump into the air. I gather all of the flames that I've stored or generated with my rage. I let all of my rage out in one final attack. I land in the middle of the attacking force's formation and thrust Cerberus into the ground. There's then a massive explosion of stone, earth, and fire. All of the troops are either killed by debris or fire. After everything settles, I'm left with barely any clothes in tact (Shirt is ripped to threads, barely covering parts of his tattoos and scars, pants ripped apart below the knees, legs battered and bloody.) I lie down and let out a long breath. *Stop the song if you want* The other ops soon gather around. The kids of the ops gather as well. Elena and Jack rip through the crowd. They get stopped, though. "Hey! Let them through!" I weakly yell. A path opens and lets them through. Mira tries to help me sit, but it hurts me too much. "Jason. All of this for us?" She asks. "Yea. Just don't think about it as my sacrifice, but my gift." I start. "All I ask in return is to remember me as I was. Always giving, happy-go-lucky, never bothered, playful, and badass. That is if I don't die. If I survive, y'all stuck with me for another forty years or so." I say. Everyone chuckles. "But I killed them all, right? Not a single one breathing?" I ask. Mira nods. Bandit and Jager chime in here. "No, actually. One managed to survive." They say. They drag him over. Tachanka and Oryx help me up without hurting me too much. Bandit and Jager put the final Mask on his knees in front of me. "Y'know, I'd finish you myself, but I think I have something special for you." I say. I summon Jack and hand him Cerberus. "Carry on the burden I have to bear, Jack. Although, you can decide if it's a burden or a blessing for yourself." I say. Jack feels the weight of my most prized possession and smirks. Everyone waits for Jack's move. He cuts off the terrorist's left hand, then moves to cut his head off and drive the sword down the body as if placing it inside a pedestal. I smile and nod. "Теперь подумай о своем следующем шаге, сынок. не хочу двигаться быстро. (Now think about your next move, son. Don't wanna move to fast.)" I say. "Я знаю, что я хочу сделать, и я думаю, что пришло время. (I know what I want to do, and I think that it's time.)" He says. He takes the ring off of the dead hand, quickly cleans it, and turns to Jade. All in one fluid motion. "Miss Jade Bosak, will you make my life a hell of a lot better and be my wife?" He says. "I... Yes, of course, Jack!" She says. I chuckle and give him a thumbs up. Mira walks over to congratulate them. Everyone eventually congratulates them. I sigh and manage to walk back home.

"Well, hope y'all enjoyed this journey. I'm afraid that this series ends here. Why? There's nothing else to tell. The Masks are done. We killed em all. Still, this isn't the end of me though. I'll be back. When? I have no clue. But I guarantee that I'll be back. Maybe as a cameo in the future, or possibly in another universe entirely. Anyway, this is Ultra, signing out for the last time. Have a good one folks. Over and out." -Jason "Ultra" Stone to his audience at the Marine Corps Farewell Party held for him soon after he recovered from his wounds during the Last Stand of Hereford.
