Chapter Five
They were heading right towards me, I can not handle a bunch of nasty, bitchy girls, you always think that people grow out of it after secondary school, then you realise some people never grow up. Its pathetic.
The girl with the long dark brown hair was smirking at me.
'Hi, I'm Cacey' she said sweetly 'Are you new?'
'I'm Elizabeth' I said equally as sweet 'and yes, I am new'
She smiled thoughtfully at that, she was only an inch taller than me, so she couldn't use her height to intimidate me.
'Well, Elizabeth' she tried again, forcing a smile this time 'What are you?'
'Excuse me' I said, my features twisting in confusion, what was this girl on about?
'No way' she began to laugh in disbelief 'You have no idea what's going on here do you? No Idea what's happening to you at all'
'What?!' I sighed, exasperated, she really needed to start talking some sense.
'Don't worry Elizabeth' she said chuckling 'You'll find out soon enough' Then she and her 'possy' walked away, her long brown hair bouncing behind her.
She was mental, absolutely mental. Except I couldn't stop the feeling that she was right about something, that I was different.
I shook my head, trying to get rid of that niggling feeling in the back of my mind, as the bus pulled up.

'I need my timetable' I said to the lady at student services, she was old, with greying hair but dyed that unnatural shade of violet that old ladies seem to love.
'OK I'll just get that printed off for you' she said smiling, revealing a hell of a lot of gum. Nice. She turned and headed towards the printer, which I assumed to be in the next room seeing as she just disappeared through a door.
'Are you new?' A strangely familiar, silky voice asked, making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
I turned around to reply and had to do a double take, MY GOD HE WAS HOT, and that's not just my 17 year old hormones talking. He was tall, around six foot, with dark black hair that rested lazily on his forehead, he had piercing green eyes and a defined jaw line that made me want to kiss all along it. His neck was long and had the most appetising vein full of blood I had ever seen, making me want to just Si,,,WHAT!? I gasped inwardly, I cannot even finish where that thought was going. It was disgusting, wrong and what sort of normal 17 year old girl would think that.
Well, you're clearly not normal darling, you dream of blood, right now your staring at this handsome boy and thinking about sinking your teeth into him and drinking.
Shut up
Your not normal, but I never said that this wasn't natural for your kind, don't worry Elizabeth, it's natural, just have a bite!
The beautiful boy was looking at me with an amused expression on his face, left eyebrow slightly raised, mouth turned up into a smirk. I wrenched myself out of this internal monologue and his hypnotic blood and looked into his eyes to speak.
'Yes, yes I am new' I said trying to smile 'My name is Elizabeth Parker'
'Parker?' He said looking surprised.
'We have a couple of other Parkers at this sixth form' He said looking down at me doubtfully 'Are you related to Cameron Parker'
'Yes!' I said excitedly 'He's my cousin'
'Do not Lie to me' he said, venom dripping in every word, making me gasp in realisation.
'I am not lying' I spat equally as menacing 'it was you wasn't it'
'Very good' he smirked 'Have you admitted it to yourself yet?'
Don't worry Elizabeth, It's natural
'I have no idea what your'e talking about;' I started and was cut off by the old lady coming back with my timetable.
'Thanks' I said snatching it off her and almost running from the room.
