Chapter Eleven
The air was crisp and fresh as the cool wind whipped around me, my hair flying in my face. I was running at an unnatural speed, trying to get away, trying to hide. I looked up at the dark sky, illuminated by the full moon and pin points of stars, the trees loomed over me threateningly, tall, dark and menacing. I looked over my shoulder, they were right behind me. I screamed and pushed myself harder. That was when I realised I needed to use it, I wanted to use it no matter the consequences.
I suddenly stopped, faced them and smirked, I called upon my almost forbidden power, my body tingling all over, I knew that my eyes had changed colour to an almost ethereal angelic quality. They looked at me in horror as they stopped advancing on me, stopped doing anything. They were mine. I caught sight of my reflection in their terrified eyes, I was beginning to take on a demonic quality, my eyes were becoming blood red in the corners, seeping in and trying to dominate over the white, my black hair danced around my head wickedly and an evil smile twisted my features. I small giggle escaped from in-between my lips. They were mine!

'Elizabeth' he motioned for me to give him the answer.
'They believe in the importance of individualism, and a limited government' I answered.
'Very good' he said smiling at me, his teeth were sharp, his smile slightly intimidating.
'God, your'e such a kiss ass' Lucern whispered to me.
'Oh, shut up' I hiss back
'Make me'
'Oh i'll make you alright, when I punch you in the gob' i said, causing him to burst into a laughing fit 'Don't think I'm serious huh?' I said raising my eyebrows.
'Something funny Lucern?' Philip asked.
'Nothing at all' He answered, wiping his eyes. The bell rang, causing a ripple effect of people grabbing their bags all over the room, in a mili second the whole class was empty, and me and Lucern were already in the canteen. This vampire stuff was really coming in handy. There was noone at our usual table so we just sat down by ourselves.
'Darius asked me to ask you, if you wanted help refining your witchcraft?' Lucern asked
'That would be great, the sooner I can control this stuff the better' I said smiling weakly.
'Am I still coming to yours after college today?'
'Of course, I still need to whip your ass in Kinect' I said grinning widely at him.
'You wish my dear'
'I don't need wishes' I stated sticking my tongue out at him.
'Seriously Elizabeth, have you even started to try and control your baser instincts' he said looking worried, referring to my vampire abilities.
'Not yet, but I will, don't worry' I said attempting a smile, he looked at me doubtfully. 'Is it really any of your business though'
He looked hurt and just shook his head,
