Natsu crossed his arms. "So Nashi, I hear you have fire powers." I stop sipping on my milkshake and nod. "You can control them?" I shake my head. "Want me to... teach you?" Natsu rubs his neck. I gasp. "You would?" I ask. "I mean yeah. Mirajane and Gray told me about the... incidents." I bite my lip. "It seems your magic follows your emotions. That can be really dangerous." Natsu explains. "When did you become an expert?" Lisanna asked. "Oh shush." then he blew her a raspberry. She blew one back.
"So this is my proposal. We go train just by ourselves and we work on your powers." I set down my vanilla milkshake. "REALLY?!" Natsu looks at Lisanna nervously. "You can't take it back now. Look at her little adorable face." I give them my famous puppy dog eyes. "We can leave-"
"RIGHT NOW!" I exclaim. "This is going to be AWESOME!"

"This is boring." I groan as we hike up a mountain. "Don't worry, we're almost there." Natsu reassures. "But I wanna be there NOW." Natsu rolls his eyes. "Now I know how Makarov felt, poor Laxus." I tilt my head in confusion. "Who is Makarov?" I ask. "The old master of Fairy Tail. Now it's Laxus. Though he was really forced into it. Pretty much everyone refused to take anyone else." I run to reach Natsu's pace, even though he was only walking. "Did your parents say it was OK to do this?" I stumble. "I... ran away from home..." I confess. "Really? Why?" Natsu asked, as if this was a normal thing. "To find my dad, I just live with my mom." I say. "That's horrible, if I were you, I'd chase down this jerk and then drag him all the way home. No kid should live without a parent or parents." I giggle and Natsu grins back. "Ah, here we are." we had reached a flat treeless area with a lake nearby. "Come sit." Natsu sat on the ground. I repeated his actions. "Now let's begin."
"I don't feel anything." I point out. "Just try to ease your body and do the same thing you did back at Mira's place or with Gray." I exhaled and sat up straight. "Anything?" I hear Natsu sigh. "I guess I was wrong. Maybe that's why your dad left. Because he thought you were useless." I scoff. "Yeah, you heard me right. Useless." I clench my fists. "Use. Less." I punch the ground and feel warmth travel through my body. "I'M NOT!" I hear slow clapping. "Great job, but now we just have to figure out how to do the same thing. Without you getting mad." I cross my arms and pout. "You made me angry just for my fire." Natsu laughed and ruffled my hair. "Sorry for tricking you."
Time Skip cause I'm lazy.
"Guess who's back!?" Natsu kicks the door open. "Oh Nashi. You're back." Mirajane greeted. I grin and give her a hug. "Look what I can do!" I opened my hand and willed fire to dance around my hand. "Wow Natsu, you taught her a lot." Lisanna said, actually impressed. Natsu blushed. "Yeah whatever." I remember Storm's words when I asked him what a dad did.
"Well, they teach you a lot of stuff, play games with you, let you have candy even though mom never lets you."
I remembered all those times Natsu tucked me in, played hide and seek after a long session, and let me eat all I want. Based on what Storm told me, Natsu was an ideal father. I turn to Natsu. "Can you be my temporary dad?" I ask Natsu. The whole guild was silent. "WHAT?!" Natsu waved his hands around. "I can't be your dad!" I frown. "But Storm said-" Storm interrupted me. "That's not what I meant. I mean yes, but they have to be your birth parent or marry your mom!" I tap my chin. "Okay, so you can marry my mom until I find my real dad and then when I do, you can just... diforce?" I struggle with the last word. "It doesn't work like that!" Natsu says. "Well it should. It is official. You're now my dad!" I exclaim. "I never said-" Natsu was cut off my Mirajane. "She looks like you, and you did kinda become a father figure for her." she points out. "She looks a lot like you." Gray added. He turns to Levy and whispers something in her ear. She gasps and run out the guild. Nobody noticed due to Natsu freaking out and the guild laughing. "Then I guess Natsu is Nashi's father now." Mirajane laughed. "YAY!" I hug Natsu. Footsteps interrupted my celebration. Slow claps erupted.
"Welcome back Nashi. You're finally here, I had to wait 2 weeks for you. So please don't resist." I freeze. He was wearing a hat, a scarf and sunglasses so his identity was hidden but I recognized that voice and smirk. Loke. The man grabs my arms and pulls me towards the exit. "NO! STOP!" I kick at Loke's feet and punch his arms. He sighs and puts out a hand, stopping people from coming forward. "Nashi, your mother is very worried." I try to pull away but can't. "Well maybe she should've told me the truth! I'm NOT going back." I try to make my hand light afire but my concentration is broken when Loke places a hand on my head. Darkness follows.
Loke sighs and puts Nashi over her shoulder as if she was a sack. "Hey, I think she told you no." Natsu garbs Loke's arms. "Well, I cannot break my masters orders, but just between you and me..." Loke leans in whispers something in Natsu's ears. The dragon slayers grip slacks. Natsu glares at the spirit as he walks out. "I hope to see you soon, Natsu."
"Natsu, why did you let him go?!" Gray asks. "We have to leave. I have an idea where Nashi is being taken."
Sorry for the short chapters lately. I'll write more soon. But for now... BYE!!!
