Toni unwrapped her hair allowing her long straight hair to fall down. She brushed it down adding a little middle part. Running her hands down her White fitted dress she sighed. It's been a while since she sung in church and to be frank she was happy about it. She loved god no doubt, but church and gospel always reminds her of her grandmother and she knew that when it was time to sing her confessions she wouldn't be able to keep in her tears.
She walked downstairs and her mother was ready with her big hat and pocket book.
They got in Toni's car And Toni started driving.
The church
Mar pulled up 5 minutes after Toni. He hugged her mom and then wraps his arm's around her.
"You look beautiful." He said making her smile.
"And you look handsome in a suit." She said and they started to kiss causing her mom to smack them both.
"Yall in front of the house of the lord." She said and they both kept in their laughs as they walked in
Everybody there was a member and if they wasn't they were relatives to the ones who were. So when Toni. Sweet innocent little Toni walked in with Mar hand and hand everybody had their opinions and it showed. Everybody had the same idea. He looked too old for her, he look like he sale drugs and some of the aunties said he looked abusive. Mar just walked in and he was ready to bounce.
They took a seat and toni looked at mar.
"Don't worry about them. Your amazing don't let them get to you." She said and he smiled. Grabbing her hand he kissed her knuckles.
"I want yall to know that god loves you through any and everything. Yall might not believe in him but he most certainly believes in you. No matter if you think he's not listening or putting you through hell just because no he's there. He's just tryna see how much you can bare and let me tell you something he will never do is put a load on you that you cant handle or carry. Everything that you going through right now is a test for a testimony. Im here to tell you if you going through something or went through something and you didn't understand it. Lord why you doing this to me. If you on yo Knees praying asking why he did this to you he told me to tell you that it was necessary." The pastor said getting amens from everybody. The more he spoke the more mar listened. He once was that little boy asking god why was his mother so mean. Why she starved him, why she beat him, why she raped him, why she emotionally abused him.
"It's hard to believe when you going through it, but it's necessary. You cant appreciate up unless you been down stay with me. You going through all this hell and you wondering where he at. When you was calling his name why he wasn't responding to you. Now some of you just forgot about him. You act like you don't need him. That little bit of good that came into yo life after all that. That was him. Let me tell you god ain't gone bring you somewhere just to leave you. But I think Ms. Toni can explain to you better then i can." He said and Toni got up causing the congregation to clap. Mar thought about what the pastor said. Even with his past here comes Toni and if he sent her than maybe god ain't give up on him.
Grabbing the mic Toni started sing

She sat back down and looked at a emotional mar. She wiped his eyes and grabbed his hands. She knew he was going through things that she didn't know about. So she wanted to comfort him.
He ended up wanting to stay and listen to the word. He no longer cared about what the people thought.
After church Toni dropped her mother off at home and left with mar.
They went to his house and currently he was laying on her stomach telling her his feelings.
"My father died in my arms. I was 6. All i remember is walking downstairs to get some milk when I saw the man holding a gun to my dad's head and I remember just seeing the bullet go through his stomach because he didn't want him to die too quick and then he left. And I rushed over there it was so much blood I didn't know what to do by the time the ambulance and the police arrive he was already dead in my arms." He said and she rubbed his head with one hand while holding his hand in her other one.
"My mother hated me after that. She put me in the basement and she would starve me and beat me everyday. Sometimes she would force me to have sex with her saying that i looked just like my pops. The only time i could leave and eat was when family came over." He said his voice cracking.
"Im so sorry mar." She said softly.
"Please don't leave me. I just really need you in my life and I'll do everything to make you happy." He said and she leaned down and kissed his forehead while rubbing his back.
"I promise i won't leave you. I would never hurt you." She said and they fell asleep like that.

King sat their mad that the plan was fucked up. Sky dropped out and is moving to DC and Lisa said she couldn't go through with it. He was at square 1. He didn't fucking care somebody was gone pay for killing his cuz.
He called up the one person he knew that heated mar and unlike Lisa and sky she wasn't gone fold.
