Chapter 19

Nico's POV

Two years have passed. There have been ups and downs in our relationship but me and Percy got through all of it. Together. We shed tears of joy when we received our results to get into University.

I just knew, ever since the day he gave me a promise ring that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. I have no regrets at all. Recently, Luke and Annabeth got engaged to each other. Everyone was overjoyed and now anticipating Jiper.

"Hey Neeks! So whatcha thinking about?" Percy asked and pecked me on the cheek. My cheeks heated up and I shook my head.

"Ehh...nothing much. Just...about us." I admitted and slipped my hand into his.

Percy gave me a heartwarming smile and nodded. "Let's go out now, Nico. Since it's a Sunday, might as well spend more time together!"

I nodded excitedly and went to change before heading out with Percy to the nearest mall.

We went to get ice cream like always and I did not even try to stop Percy when he dashed into the toys store and started hugging a dolphin stuffed toy. In fact, it was so cute that I secretly took a few pictures.

Wow...talk about being a creeper.

"Hey Nico, do you still remember when we got a couple keychain?" Percy asked as we passed by a particularly familiar store. I nodded and realised that it was the same store we went to get the heart keychains.

"I can't believe you can still remember that." I laughed. He shrugged his shoulders and started to act cool.

After a little more of wondering around the mall we started making our way back to my house. However we lost track of time when we spotted a playground.

Yea...we are totally grown ups.

Percy seemed to stand at one side awkwardly as I slid down the slide. A worried expression made its way to my face and I rushed over to him.

"Percy, what happened? Are you okay? Did I do something wrong?" I asked.

He shook his head and blushed before taking a wrapped up box out of his haversack and passing it to me.

"It's specially for you, Neeks. I really hope you like it..." His voice trailed off.

I took the box and started to open it. What I saw made me confused and surprised at the same time.

"Keys?"

Percy nodded shyly. "Yes. Nico di Angelo, would you like to move into an apartment with me?"

It sounded weird at first but I got all excited and started jumping up and down. "Of course! OMG I love you!" I pulled him into a tight embrace.

When we got back to my house, we decided to talk to my parents first as they are extremely strict about these kind of things. However, they seemed to be okay with the idea and gave their permission.

Percy and I figured that we'll move in only when University starts, which is two weeks later, so that we can spend more time with our families too.

When Percy left to go back home, I started to go deep in thought and at that time, felt like the luckiest man on earth.
