~ Surprise, after Surprise ~

I rolled my eyes. “C’mon on Josh. I know we just met and you wouldn’t know this, but I HATE surprises.” Josh chuckled. “Sorry love. You’ll just have to wait.” He glanced at me and smiled.

I pouted my lips and did my famous puppy dog eyes. “No, no, no. Don’t try that on me. Harry warned me about your killer puppy dog eyes. Adorable but deadly.”

“Is that a compliment, Devine?” I teased. “Definetly.” He took my hand in his. I giggled.

My phone buzzed in my pocket. It was a text from Chloe. I remembered that I was mad at everyone because of what they had said. I noticed I had like 10 other messages. I couldn’t help but check the message. It could have been an emergency.

I’m sorry about earlier. I just don’t want you to get hurt. You just have to many guys chasing after you. I’m hope you still aren’t mad, babe. Love you. :) xx

P.S.

Remember, forget the drum and bang the drummer ;) xx

I laughed so hard at the text I dropped phone between Josh’s legs. “We’re here.” Josh announced.”Oh. I’ll get that for you.” I panicked. What if Josh saw the text? Krap..

Josh reached down and picked it up. He chuckled. “Bang the drummer, huh?” Josh laughed. “Sorry, my uhh.. friend texted it.” I blushed. “She thinks your pretty hot.” He handed me my phone and got out the car. “I think so too.” Josh opened the door for me and took my hand to help me out.

“You are such a gentleman.” I held his hand. “I was raised well.” Josh said in return.

We were in a field full of roses and tulips and daisies. Basically any flower possible. There was a picnic blanket, with a basket in the middle of it. The whole scene was breath taking.

“Josh.. this is so beautiful. I don’t even know what to say… Wow..” I was literally speechless. No guy has ever done anything so romantic for me… ever.

“Thank you…” I smiled at him and squeezed his hand lightly.

“No problem, love.” I pulled him towards the blanket. We sat down.

I looked around. There was a park close to the picnic area. I saw a little boy pushing a little girl on the swing. I remember the good old days when Harry and I would basically spend the whole summer at the park, pushing each other on the swings and down the slides. I shook my head and turned to Josh.

“So, tell me about yourself.” I said. “When did you start playing the drums?”

“I started playing the drums when I was 3 years old.” I gasped.

“Really?” Josh nodded. “That’s amazing.”

“Would you like to eat?” Josh asked.

I didn’t realize until now that I hadn’t eaten anything all morning.

“Of course. I’m starved.” I rubbed my stomach. Just as Josh handed me a sandwich, my stomach growled embarrasingly loud. I bit my lip.

“I can tell.” Josh laughed. I took a bite out off the sandwich. I don’t if it was because I was so hungry or what, but I think it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had.

“Whoa. Josh, this is amazing. Did you make this yourself?” I asked amazing.

Josh nodded. “I did. You like?”

“I love!” I giggled.

“You have a little.. here I’ll get it for you.” Josh reached over and wiped the side of my mouth with a napkin.

“Why thank you, Devine.” I smiled.

By the time we finished our meal we had learnt loads about eachother. I loved hearing Josh talk. His accent is so cute. Sometimes I forgot I was British. I been living here for two and a half years so my accent has basically dissapeared.

“You know I really love your accent.” Josh smiled. “I was just thinking the same thing.” I stared into his beautiful eyes. I closed my eyes. We leaned in and our lips were right about to touch, when we heard, “LOOK ITS JOSH DEVINE!!” I heard screams, my eyes shot open and I saw about 15 girls running towards us.

“C’mon!” Josh pulled me up and we ran hand in hand to his car. We ran into his car and drove away before we got mauled.

“That was crazy.” Josh said.

“Ha. Yea.”

The ride back to the hotel was silent but comfortable. Josh and I held hands the whole way. We walked with our intertwined up the elevator and down the corridor and up to the door. The door was unlocked.

“You know. You really shouldn’t keep the door unlocked.” I laughed.

“Ria, your baaack!” Everyone greeted Josh and I.

“So do you forgive us?” Danielle asked. I nodded.

“Nothing a hot bath couldn’t heal.” We laughed.

“Your fans are crazy.” Josh uttered. “Yea. We almost got mauled by them.” I laughed.

“I already packed for you guys this morning. So you’re good.” I smiled.

I glanced at my phone it was 3:27. “So we should leave now. Paul should be waiting in the car right now.” Liam said.

We arrived at the airport about 20 minutes later. It was pretty close but there was traffic. It was like Josh and I couldn’t be seperated. We held hands basically the whole day.

We were all sitting down waiting for the airplane to come. Josh and Harry were having a conversation. Perrie and Zayn were just enjoying eachother’s company. Eleanor and Louis were playing a handful. And Liam and Danielle were arguing. That’s a first, Payzer never fight…

Maybe it was just a playful banter.

“We never eachother anymore and you moved out making it worse.” Liam said. “I know, Liam. And its breaking my heart…” Danielle said in a hushed tone.

A person took a picture if Liam and Danielle bantering and ran away. The security was tight but people could slip in and pretend to be a person just boarding the plane.

“We are now boarding flight 847, to London, England.” A voice on the intercom said.

All our eyes grew sad, knowing we wouldn’t see eachother in a while.

We all hugged eachother, even the other band members.

“We just met and I love you guys like crazy.” I fake cried.

“What can I say? I am loveable.” Harry uttered. “You sure are!” I squeezed Harry’s cheeks and gave him a big hug.

“Text us as soon as you land!” I yelled as they walked away. Danielle turned around and winked. Eleanor smiled and Perrie held her two thumbs up.

The last person I hugged was Josh. I smiled at him. Everyone had started walking to the terminal. “I normally don’t do this on first dates, but I can’t resist.” I snaked my arms around his neck and kissed him. Josh kissed back almost instantly, his lips soft and warm. His lips felt perfect against mine. We pulled away.

I bit my lip. “Bye Josh.”

“Goodbye lovely.” Our hands parted as he walked into the terminal. I flicked my hair over my shoulder.

“Aria Montgomery, what was that?” Chloe slung her arm around me as we walked out the door. I shrugged.

“Forget the drum, and band the drummer?” I smirked. “Josh saw that you know.”

“What? Why’d you show that to him?” Chloe frowned. “That’s SO embarrassing!”

I laughed.
